we had so much fun everything was perfect, they did a lots of care to us, all the manager was perfect especially Ms ( Zohal Nazik ) and Mr ( Remedy) they did everything for us. the location of the hotel was perfect and different to other resorts. they provide many rose flower for our honey moon and special wine as a free for us and they change our room to suite room with no extra charge and at the end everything was perfect.

myself, my partner and my little boy (2yrs) returned here this year after going last year for the first time, last year foe 1 week stay this year 2 weeks as we enjoyed it so much last year. im VERY disappointed in many things this year about this hotel, which i will run through down the page amy be a large review but i feel it needs explaining for anyone who has no idea what they are or maybe going to.
this hotel is apparently under new management this year which may explain the change but its not ok and they do need to read these reviews and rectify things before its too late, weather or not they want the english back it doesnt matter things still need changing.

1- arrival, on arrival it was actually a very quick check in compared to last year which was good and seemed to be starting off on a good note, until we got to our room, we had a buggy for little on and the mount of steps we had to contend with was a laugh, the size of the room was poor (last years was twice the size and we booked the same standard of room), floors were dirty and little ones bed wasnt made ready and didn't even have ample bedding for it!!!!!!!!!!!! seemed as if they didnt even read how many people were due to stay in the room.

2- first 3 days were fine sun bed/food wise then bam!! crazy no word of a lie its just silly, i had to get up for the remaining of my stay at a silly time just to get a sun bed, this time got earlier and earlier each day until it got ti 6.30 am and still 3/4s of the pool was taken i took it to this point and then stopped myself from getting there earlier as i was meant to be on holiday which is more for relaxing not less sleep and hassle. same goes for food times queing for food in a long line doesnt matter what time you seemed to go, people pushing in not waiting and trying to knock the plates out of your hands many times, ive never been to a pace ever with a food hall not restaurant like this, i honestly feel its closer to the exerience of a soup kitchen not what should be 5* deepely shocked.

3- breakfast was ok EVERYONE waits for pancakes so be prepared to wait but even then yours could be undercooked!!!! was possibly the best meal out of the day though so that says alot.

4- the standard of the decor and amenities werent too great either, 1 set of toilets by the shop had 2 with the flushes completely out of the wall sat ontop of the toilet seat which just left 3 toilets to be used, as these were the ones by the food hall so at times were very popular, think this needed to be tended to quicker. many times there wasnt enough toilet paper in any of the toilet blocks, the main pool block constantly had poo on the pool and stank in the ladies, i dont know if someone kept having an accident or someone thought it was ok to poo on the floor but the fact they covered it with toilet paper and left it was bad enough but on occasions i myself had to then scoop this up and clean the floor before letting my little boy use the toilet this physically made heave and i feel dirty for a long time after and made we wonder what bacteria was around by the pool now as a result :(
5- bars, most bars were ok, the sis bar up on top with the view over the main pool was the best for service and quality, the pool bar had deteriorated from last year, the service poor, they didnt want to serve you at all at times having to get out and walk round to the dry side just to order and get back in the pool, the quality poor, orders made up to what they wanted not what you asked and no chance to rectify if they got it completely wrong.
6- beach/jetty- this was good the jetty needs sanding down and re varnishing but with sea water and an all season hotel lets face it thats a huge thing to ask so not entirely their fault, worth a swim down there but good luck to getting beds again!!!
7- WATER!!!!! believe it or not this was hard work to get hold of cold water this year, most fridges were below a decent cold temp which meant most bottles were room temp, the "mini fridge" in the room couldnt even get stocked with them most nights i was collecting bottles of water to take back with me to stock as it wasnt done in the day not just for drinking but for cleaning our teeth!this should be an essential!
8-CLEANERS!!!!! i have a lot to say about these, they werent very good at their jobs at all!!!! as explained previously mini bar not stocked and little ones bed never had any bedding, the bedding wasnt changed often the towels reduced in number so we had to share and the bath mat dissapeared, we had no TOILET ROLL!! this i couldnt believe, we phoned the reception on 2 occasions for this and it took about an hr to actually come this was just a joke, toilet roll and water should be essential not something to play with and worry about money.
we had a smashed plate outside our room 5821 for pretty much 4 days before it was cleared after complaining 3 times about this as i couldnt let little one walk out on his own incase he fel onto it or it got in his sandals, very disappointed with the room cleanliness.
9- the beds- no word of a lie i got bruises on my hips from sleeping on these hard bed they were awful, we remember them being bad from last year and hoped it may have changed and worried before we came, shame it was still the same but little did we know it was just one of many things this time, last year my partner got a trapped nerve in his neck from the beds and this year was my big bruises on my hips, looked awful in swim wear :(

so over all food poor and re used, water not cold, some bottles re used so you dont know where it had been, fights for sunbeds and people even nicking them after you have reserved them, this happened to us one day while out at lunch, customers rude, staff other than the room cleaners, trying their hardest and i felt very sorry for them the hotel really needs to spend some money on the the staffing levels and they would get better results from us customers on reviews and maybe even come back.

go to bodrum if you can we had a day out on the sat and had a fab time with some fab food by the sea, really worth it, staff fab, very underrated on how hard they work and dont expect tips.
but the bad hugely outweighed the good and it will take a lot to rectify this i feel, i feel they just need to take this hotel away from the english as not one english person there was entirely happy and we felt singled out, so i know this isnt just us, we very easy going but i wanted to relax and enjoy my holiday that cost a small packet before the stresses of a new job after holiday, but now i just feel tired and sad i spent so much money on this i cant emphasise how disappointed i am at the kervansaray.
also a huge point for the management stop turning off the main hotels air con its ridiculous the amount of sweat coming off the guests, if moneys that much of an issues you have big problems but no 5* shouldnt have air con on in the main building this again shows off your quality or lack of
never again

Room Tip: ive heard rooms in the hotel are better with cleanliness and re stocking of bedroom bits but dont kn...

We had 1 week stay in this hotel. We got a village room which didn't have the view to the sea. The location is 10 minutes to the Bodrum city. most of the staff can't speak english at all. The main swimming pool was awesome. there was another one but smaller near the entrance with some slides which was more fun and even cozy. Alcoholic drinks were terrible except beer. tequila was not tequila at all!! there was a big choice in the buffet restaurants. fish restaurant didn't have lobster or crab or something like that. Chinese restaurant was not really Chinese. but Italian restaurant was better in comparison to other ones. The most annoying issue in my opinion was the internet. for such a big hotel there was just a quite slow WiFi connection just in the lobby which was impossible to connect to it in busy hours. but all in all we enjoyed our stay there.

Room Tip: ask for the seaside rooms

Me and my boyfriend stayed here at the beginning of July and we had a fantastic time. In contrary to the review below, we are British and thoroughly enjoyed our week stay here. We found the location to be perfect and there was something for everyone. If you are after a quiet time then I would recommend take the lift to the jetty as it is a lot calmer down there. However if music and entertainment is more your thing I would recommend staying by the pool as there is a lot more action.

We found food to be consistently good and there was always something for everyone. It was fresh and was cooked in front of us so we knew that food was not being recycled day to day. They changed many of the main things each day so you could never get bored of what was on offer.

We found that we did not need to tip anyone to get good service and on two occasions room service left petals on our bed which was a lovely gesture, so we did tip her in the end. Staff across the resort were always friendly to us, and every time we saw them they would greet us with smiles and hellos. Perhaps because we were polite to them back, we never had a problem with staff and I want to emphasize this as the majority were lovely and work so hard!

We arrived at the hotel at 1am and we were finished checking in and into our bungalow room after at the most 20 minutes, and on our short wait staff at reception offered to cook us food if we were hungry which was a nice thought.

Overall we had a fantastic time and I would definitely recommend staying here. We had no issues and loved every minute of our stay.

After this holiday for two weeks, this changed my opinion of turkey.

We learned that this hotel is used for the more wealthy turkish who travel down to this hotel which is more in torba, which you do see as lots of cars arrive,

This hotel is in my guess it is 70%turkish, 20% Iran, 10% European.
The hotel lowered its prices this year, part of the kervansaray group but should not be offered to Brits

As the other reviews this hotel does not welcome british,
If you are at any bar they will serve the turkish first even if you are first in line.

Staff are overworked maybe that's why not one smile or say hello.

Food, traditional turkish serve Chips in the morning, no typical kids foods.
Restaurants a la carte, Italian , no pasta or pizza!!
Chinese, not Chinese as we know it!!

Entertainment team, you watch the entertainment from rows of seats bit like a cinema layout with no tables for drinks.very steep and with poor exit lighting
they only had two acts in the two weeks, but had usual miss hotel, best couple shows.they repeat the shows every week so we saw miss hotel twice.
No wonder the team manager changes his team every year.
Some nights they had no shows at all

Pool, large main pool, kids pool, pool bar
Slides at other side of resort not beside main pool.
Your up early for beds, a lot of bed stealing ,moving, seen many arguments.
You don't get towels till 8 am but a lot of guests used the same towels so they could reserve beds then changed them later that morning.

Accommodation, we had a bungalow, very nice with mini bar.but try to get to main hotel.

Location, in torba not bodrum, but you can catch bus at security gate for 3tl each 10mins.

Golden plate, this man andy goes round everyone every day trying to get them to go to his restaurant in seaside bodrum, we went then he left us alone. Free taxi to his restaurant though.

Jetty. You can swim in the sea with near by snack bars all inclusive, water sports 20 euro each

Flight, close to airport 20 mins

Wifi free in lobby but doesn't work, lots people sitting in lobby using it

Sorry to be negative but this resort is to big, to poor
We will prob go back to club julian marmaris if we got a room/suite if you want to holiday in turkey

Room Tip: Main hotel with view
