It is a wonderful place, very green. I cannot say anything bad, as i cannot find anything in my memory, the rest was simply wonderful. The hotel is very big (and once i even got lost a bit )))))! The food is very nice. The service is the best.

I stayed here for 3 nights with 4 other family members including 1 toddler (my son).
Quite pricey but as i was referred by a family member to stay here as it is worth the cost with included meals, private beach, all alcohol included etc we thought it was worth it. Well Rixos had unfortunatly changed their policy to all inclusive and the rooms had even been "renovated" to the point where all rooms no longer had baths or spas, only a childcare centre was available when it came to kids activities and quite frankly you can only have a good time if you have ALOT of money to spend. Other than meals, beach, pool, hammam and your room you need to pay for all other services. I understand most hotels are this way, but when you pay alot of money to stay somewhere, you expect excellent service and to be able to do alot of activities. As for concierge services, several times i had to wait over 20 minutes for them to attend to my son and I. Its a nice hotel overall but its very hard to go sightseeing, shopping etc as the location of the Rixos is kind of in the middle of nowhere.

Dear Guest,
Wishing you a great day from Rixos Premium Bodrum. Your opinion is very important to us. Because, reviews are helping us to improve our services. We serve with Full Board Plus concept since 2010, we do not have all inclusive concept over two years. I am sorry that you did not enjoy the new concept and also the renovated rooms. Our hotel is located in Torba which means 15 minutes away from Bodrum center. There is local mini buses every ten minutes to the city center.
We deeply value your thoughts, it is never our intention to create such a unpleasant stay in our hotel. I apologize on behalf of Rixos Bodrum regarding the unpleasant parts of your stay.
We hope to host you again in another vacation plan.
Best Regards,

We have recently returned from our annual summer family vacation, and wanted to just share with fellow travellers some of the wonderful delights that we experienced. We have never before made any comments on this site, but on this occasion felt this was a must.

We made our booking directly with the hotel and found Ebru to be very prompt and efficient. She always returned calls, e mails and was also on hand to welcome us upon our arrival. She organised our private airport transfers, and the chauffeurs were even waiting for us at the airport despite our fairly lengthy delay. Impressive start.

Upon arrival we were seated in the impressive foyer to go through our booking together with the hotel facilities. We were shown around the resort whilst our luggage was delivered to our suite.

Our accommodation was spacious, clean and offered stunning views across the sea, particularly at sunset.

The food was of the highest quality and catered for everybody"s need. Our family's tastes in food varies enormously given that we had a young child, teenager and grandparent in our party but the hotel offered incredible choices in both the main dining areas and the individual a la carte restaurants. We were always seated very quickly and were looked after by our waiter Erol, who was attentive, caring and looked after us with the great professionalism. He made our dining experiences at breakfast, lunch and dinner an absolute pleasure. He is a real asset to the Hotel. On one occasion at evening dinner, were were slightly late, however the head chef took it upon himself to cook our evening dinner himself. A truly remarkable meal with exquisite flavours. A real treat

The Spa was outstanding, very professional, discrete and offered a very wide range of treatments This is a must for your trip!!

The pool facilities for the children and the main pool were exceptionally inviting, well attended and extremely clean. The pool attendants were often seen still busy, washing down, preparing for the next day late into the evening. We never had any problems getting beds around the pool and parasols and lounge beds were always offered to us by the attendant. There were pool activities going on at various times of the day that you could join in or just enjoy watching.

The private beach was spacious and clean with a life guard always in attendance. We indulged in the wide variety of water sports too and i must commend the owner of this for his care, attention and trustworthiness that he displayed towards us, nothing was too much trouble, A very refreshing attitude.

Finally, i must give a special mention to 2 of the hotels managers. Suat Delidere ( Food and beverage manager) and Mouhamad Hadia ( Hotel manager). They both worked tirelessly throughout our stay ensuring that everyone of their guests had the most remarkable experience. They were around at breakfast time until the last guest had departed to their rooms for the evening. We found them approachable and friendly, would always stop to talk to you and offer any help hand guidance if it was required. They both even wanted to know when we were returning to the UK to ensure they were on hand to bid us farewell and wished us an enjoyable trip home. They are both valuable assets and a real credit to the group. Thanks to you both

My title review was 'One amazing Hotel" and i truly believe this is the case having experienced what we did. This hotel should be one everyones special places to visit wish list.

We will be returning!!!!!!!

Room Tip: We had a suite which was fairly close to the main hotel building given that we had got children which helped as we didn't have to endure any lengthy walks to the hotel reception and dining areas.

I'm not getting dragged into this obsessive debate about 'Five Star' or 'class' or whatever. It is so subjective... I've never stayed at Claridge's or the Waldorf so what do I know?
What I do know is that 'stars' awarded to holiday/resort hotels are not a reliable measure of facility or utility. Your best bet? Ignore the 'star' classification and go try it out for yourself!
We are a couple in our 30s/40s and we are so very glad we tried the Rixos Bodrum. It was a wonderful holiday experience and without deconstructing all the arguments against it one-by-one, here are some of our observations:
+ we received a room upgrade and had fresh fruit and wine awaiting our 2.30am arrival. While waiting for the bell boy to take our luggage to our room, we were treated to smiling faces during an easy check-in and a cool refreshing drink. A nice start...

+ the hotel is lavish and quite ostentatious in design; certainly different to anything we'd experienced in other resort holidays. The lobby/reception and other public spaces are amazing, while the lush, manicured gardens are a delight. We especially liked the fact that, for its relative size, the resort had many different areas to it, corners of calm where you could always chill out. A quick note on 'noise'. The poolside music was quite loud and could be said to be 'invasive'. The music from down at the main 'pier' was also constant, but at less decibels and actually - since they played chill-out tunes - we found it to be totally relaxing. But these sounds don't clash and you can zone them out

+ the staff were friendly, receptive and nearly all spoke basic English (if that is important to you). I always think you get back what you put in... so try interacting with the staff. That said, a lot of the clientele were brusque, dismissive and yet not once did I see anything but courtesy and finesse from the staff. On our second last night, our Air Con broke down. One word to reception and it was fixed within the hour.

+ the facilities are superb, from the pool to the sports/recreational to the beach. The beach is a good size but we preferred the wooden docks which jut into the sea and have ladder access to the liquid velvet water. So relaxing! We also tried canoeing (free) and jet ski (£50 for 15 minutes ouch!) and had a daily walk around the resort's island. The Spa is sensational and inclusive, bar the treatments. The Turkish bath was an eye-opener and a fantastic way to refresh after a hot day at the dock

+ Exercise was a must because one thing you don't lack for at Rixos is calories! The Sini restaurant (buffet) is quite superb with an array of food to suit all tastes. Of the three A La Carte restaurants (Aja, Caramel and Layali) we tried the latter and feasted on a Lebanese banquet. It actually was very good value for money indeed, so do try something different.

+ it's inarguable that the prices - to a British tourist - are on the high side. But you can drink your fill (if you must) at lunch and dinner during the buffet hours.

+ quick tips to finish: you must have a Bank of England £10 note to expedite the Visa control at Bodrum airport. If you wish to go to Kos, you don't need to pay another £10 on re-entry, the Visa (stamp) is valid for 80 days. The Dolmus (mini-bus) is easily the best way to get around and dirt cheap (3 Turkish Lira compared to 40 in a taxi for the trip from the Rixos to Bodrum town). At the Rixos, they prefer if you pay in Euro or even dollars (though they will take Turkish Lira).

In all, we had a memorable holiday and wouldn't hesitate to go back to the Rixos Bodrum if we got the right deal.

Room Tip: Ask for a room further down the hill, nearer the resort centre

We have stayed in Rixos from 25 August till 7th september. Overal impression is great! First of all id likie to empasize hotel's big and green territority. There are a lot of pine trees and gardens, under them you can put your feet up)) it was very charming. Beach was great, with sand and water was warm enough, i can truly reccomend as one of the best beaches destinations.
We lived in a suite - and furniture and design is great in pretty turkish style) Also our room was quiete spacious 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms)
Food was very good espeially buffet in the morning and evening, good assortiment and nice view from the terrace. Also we d like to say thanks to Mehmet, restaraunt supervisour, he did his best!
But there are some negative moments - too noisy in the restaraunt for this class, and service is poor, as to compare with Central Europe/
P/s But location and brilliant water and sand make our holiday unforgettable!
Moreover this hotel is luxurious but not for everyboby - if you d like to feel a real luxury book a villa and then your holiday will be truly luxurious!
