Having read most of the reviews on here, I would agree with the majority. This hotel was lovely, the staff work very hard, animation team and mini club staff were amazing and food was great. There are not an awful lot of Brits here but we found that quite nice. Did encounter a very rude lady on our last day demanding British gin and Bacardi at the Hawaiian pool, staff got it for her but there's ways of asking rather than demanding! Cats didn't bother us at all, ignore them! We stayed in room 5109, lovely small 2 bedroom appt, between aqua pool and Hawaiian. Turkish pancakes are lovely, my kids were loving them, found that the beach snack bar was nicer than the snack bar at the aqua pool. Very impressive desserts in the panorama cafe bar and found myself eating tiramisu for breakfast on the 1st day! It was cold in the evenings but this was early season. Special thanks to maria, haken, degli, melda as they made the holiday very special for my 2 boys aged 12 and 8. Hope you find this useful??? Would defo go back but in june/july when it's warmer!

It is difficult to describe how good we found this hotel. We went firstly in May 2010 and did not know what to expect, but enjoyed ourselves so much that we booked again for May 2011 just 6 weeks after returning home. Having just arrived arrived back home this morning after another week in the Voyage Torba, I can honestly say that I wish I was back there!

We arrived a little after midnight (it is only 30-40 mins transfer from the airport, and one of the first drop offs - with Thomas Cook anyway) and were welcomed straight away by the reception area staff, check in only took a couple of mins to do and we were taken to our room. Some of the rooms can be quite small but are clean and have the essentials, bathroo, air con, a good bed, safe and a fridge. Besides, you will not want to spend much time in the room as there is plenty to see and do. Our room had a balcony and was looking over the Hawaii Pool (better than the view of the back of the Chinese resteraunt last year), but it was smaller room. The room is cleaned daily, with the fridge restocked. The bedding and towels were actually changed daily, despite other people saying it was only done every 2-3 days.

Facility wise, you cannot ask for much more. There are 3 main pools, the Hawaii pool, the Main Pool by reception and Aquapark pool with slides for the kids (and big kids). All of them have plenty of sun loungers but they can get busy as the day goes on, probably more so in the height of summer. The beach area has hundreds of sun beds with tables and there are more of the jetty and there is also an adult only beach area. The Hawaii Pool has its own bar, as does the Aquapark. These are not really sit in areas, but the Aqua Bar does serve food during the day like pasta, pizzas and burgers, which can be a nice alternative as the main buffet is very similar between lunch and dinner. There is a new bar along the beach front that has been built over the winter months as there was not really much in the way of this for people who were sitting on the beach.

If the beaches and pools are not you cup of tea then there are alternatives in the other seating/bar areas. The Panorama bar above reception has an indoor air conditioned area as well as an outdoor seating area which is a sun trap! This bar has a great view over the main pool and the sea beyond. This is a 24 hour bar, and also has the patiserie and serves ice cream during the day. There a small bar area at reception but this can get a little busy at times (especially before and after meal times). The Sky Bar is located behind the main resteraunt by the beach and is a large open area plenty of seating. We noticed that this year they have added wooden benches around the back and front of the bar for this year with cushions on to make it feel like a sofa, this made this area feel a lot more relaxed. The Sky Bar also has a DJ on most nights, and has bands/singers a couple of nights a week.

The Beach Bar is at the opposite end of the beach to the Sky Bar and will also serve food during the day like the Aquabar. They have also added to this bar by adding a large area of sofas and chairs to effectively double the size of this bar, we found this to be very comfortable and a lovely area to get out of the sun if it got too much thanks to its large wooden roof. The staff in this bar were so friendly and would not only remember what you had been drinking, one of them actually remembered us from the previous year!

Food wise, there is a lot of choice, it is a buffet breakfast with choice of cereals, fruit, cooked meats, salads, yoghurt, pancakes, fried eggs, bread, toasties and waffles amongst other things. Strangely they also seemed to be serving chips and soup each morning! You can also get fruit juices, tea and coffee, but if you want freshly squeezed Orange juice, you will need to pay 1 Turkish Lira extra, we didn't think it was worthwhile.

As mentioned previously, lunch and dinner at the main buffet are very similar, with salads, bread, soups, chips and pasta each time, there would then be some different selections of meats, whether it be fish, turkey, chicken, and various vegetable dishes. You also have an amazing choice of desserts, it is sometimes difficult to choose which one(s) to have!! We could not have any complaints about the choice of food as there was always something that you could eat and the food was always warm where it needed to be.

The Aquapark and Beach Bar food was always cooked quickly and was enough to lasy you through the afternoon without being too full by the time dinner came round at 7pm, and had enough selection to have a different meal every day.

The resort has several Al-a-Carte restaurants, which we to be honest we have not tried, but everyone who we spoke to who has, could not say enough good things about the service and the food, especially in the Turkish, Italian, Mexican and Chinese. If you do want to eat in any of these, you will need to be quick off the mark and book at 10am.

For snacks, there are also options, as mentioned earlier, the patiserie serves cakes and ice cream during the day, the Aquapark and Beach Bars will have a freezer for ice creams like Cornetto's and Magnum's, which again was a nice new addition this year. Other than this there is the Toastie House and Pancake House near the Hawaii and Aquapark.

There is nealy always something going on around the resort, with various sports being available, aerobics, the spa and gym. Other than the Sky Bar at night, there is also an auditorium where there are usually nightly shows by the entertainment team or other performers. There a few locations which will tell you what is going on, where and when to keep you up to date. Down by the beach you will find Dennis and the watersports area which will include, jet skis, banana boats and diving school (these are chargeable) but there is canoes and pedalos that can be used for free.

While we found no faults with the staff last year, this year they seemed to be even better and could not do enough to help you. I have read reviews where other people have complained about them not speaking English very well, but at the end of the day, they are not English, and the resort caters for people from all over Europe, not just Brits. Some of them will go out of there way to help you, others will just give you what you ask for, but they are always polite and smiling while doing it.

Other reviews have also mentioned the cats around the resort, yes they are there, but there are now signs up asking you not to feed them, if you ignore them they will just go away, if they are not chased away by the staff.

The main thing I would say is that it is an unbelievable place to stay, where you want for nothing, which is summed up by the amount of people, us included, who go back to stay there again. Don't be put off by thinking it is a large resort, it is not, it is easy to get around, and it is well signposted throughout. If you are going, make the most of it!!

Arrived at the hotel around 4pm, reception staff were friendly and efficient and were shown to our room (6102) in the Voyage Private complex across the street. Would recommend paying the extra to stay here as it has it's own staff and they could not do enough to help, they really made the holiday special.
The room was modern, comfortable and very clean with all the facilities including air con and well stocked mini bar. The patio doors led to the private pool and sun beds with fresh towels for the beds daily. Food in the Private complex is exceptional, cooked fresh and served to your table in addition to a well stocked salad and sweet buffet option.
The main complex was really clean and the gardens well maintained. Plenty of bars and more friendly staff. Food in the main compex was good and plentiful with lots of choice. Plenty of themed restaurants but book early.
Good sized beach and watersports areas and again plenty of sun beds and bars, with great waiting staff.
Entertainment every night with shows and dancing till 2 in the morning if you wanted to.
One of the best holidays ever.

Where do I start, Me my wife and our 2 friends arrived 05:00 Sunday morning we where greeted by the friendly reception staff and in our room within 15 minutes (great). We then went back to reception to ask where the 24hr bar was for something to eat which was sandwiches and soup very nice after a long journey. We never had a bad meal the entire week and we managed to try nearly all the a la cartes apart from the turkish which was a shame as we had heard very good reports about it, I would say if you go in the height of the season I reckon it could be a problem as the booking system is a bit strange you will have to be on the phone for 09:59. There are loads of sunbeds so you should be able to get 1 without being up at the crack of dawn, there is also 4 pools although 1 is for the private guests and they have a different colour of band I thought I read somewhere you dont need a band but I could be mistaken. The staff work a lot of hours in the day and night and still seem very happy and they will try and help you in any way they can. What is a must is take a long sleeved garment coat, jacket, jumper as you might need it the skybar is outside down near the beach and if it is breezy it can become cold although it is early in the season but better to be safe than frozen lol.
There are a few cats an yes they can be a pest but ignore them and they dont bother you and there are signs up saying do not feed the animals but people still do which attracts them. The rooms are not very spacious and they do not have much drawer space and if you have space take some coat hangers as we had 5 between the 2 of us. The toilet was small snd there is also a free safe, but who spends a lot of time in the room anyway. Although it seems a very big hotel it isnt really and about 5-10 minutes you can walk round it, there is a snackbar that you sit in and can have meals burgers, pasta, half a chicken etc very nice food, this is across from the chinese a la carte then if you walk round further you come to the turkish tea and sandwhich bar serving toasties etc we never tried this so cant give a view, across from this is the crepes again never tried this but looked quite busy then further round round is the aqua park snackbar from the outside the menu looks the same as the other snackbar but when you go in it is different as this does pizza, meatballs, different pasta, you can also get Magnum,Cornetto's ice cream etc at no extra charge not many All Inclusives would include that, the cake shop is actually up in the panorama bar which is the 24hr bar also and the cakes are lovely. The skybar has a noodle bar which does pasta, noodles etc very nice this also doubles up as the fish a la carte at night and if yo book the village breakfast this is here also. The drinks are not from what I tasted watered down and they have a menu for the cocktails and what they serve although it might have been because it is early in the season but it advertises Becks but I the bar staff said they dont have any and the 1 day I saw them serving it they said it was effes not a big deal but just thought in case you like Becks to let you know. The gym looked well equipt and the beach looked nice enough but it was a bit breezy they have a lot of beds with thick mattresses on the pier. they also have a games room with internet access pool and table tennis. We took a dolmus into Bodrum which was 6TL for 2 nice town but outside the hotel there is not a lot to do, across the road from the hotel is the Menthol bar cafe which we ate in once it was nice enough and reasonably priced. We tipped the staff as we felt we had great service but I dont think it would matter tipping or not the service would be the same, there are managers everywhere and if they see the waiters not working they are on there case. Take small notes as if you take 50s,20s,10sTL notes you will find it very hard to change them to small bills to give tips out, we tipped 5TL at a time whenever we felt like it and we felt like it a lot when we where in Bodrum I changed a few 50TL note into 5TL notes.I hope this helps and gives you a bit of insight into this hotel and if your booked to go I am sure you will have a great time but just remember a long sleeved garment and you will not go wrong,
I am sure I have missed out a few things but if anyone would like to know anything drop me a line and I will try and help if I can.

We arrived in the very early hours of Sunday morning to be greeted by curtious friendly staff and that level of helpfulness and warmth continued throughout our the week of our stay.
It was our second time to Turkey but first to Voyage Torba and we previously thought that our last stay was good but this has over shadowed it by quite some margin. The entire site is kept extremely clean and the standard and cleanliness of the rooms was very good. All rooms have a modern feel about them and ample rooms for a holiday.

The large selection of restaurants at the complex ensures that there is enough choice in food for all tastes - we tried the Chinese, Greek, Mexican and the Turkish which proved to be our favourite. The general buffet also offered a good selection with dishes being prepared fresh in front of you if you wanted something different.

Any negatives? If it rains is can be tough as the complex has so much of its amenities out side and we did have one rain shower while there which tested the managment but it only lasted a couple of hours and all was restored. I read somebody's comments about the cats and yes there were about five or six cats around the site but they're stray so don't feed them or interact - and they go away.

If you talk with the staff and get to know them a little they open up and your service improves even more so with drinks arriving at your table just a syou finish your last one. They'll laugh and joke with you we found them to be genuine and entertaining. How ever we also witnessed some other brits treating them like dirt - no manners as it seems all inclusive to some means you don't have to bother? (It did shock us but its little wonder why we sometimes get a poor name abroad)

The choice of beach or three pools is ample - the entertainment team and choice of two discos gives the choice of relaxtion and entertainment all at the same time.

Over all both my wife and our two friends loved every minute and ae planning to return next year.

Having just returned today from this amazing luxury hotel I felt I had to share this gem of a holiday with all you eager sunlovers out there. Offering great value for money we found the deluxe rooms to be of an exceptional level of comfort and cleanliness. The beautiful planned and planted gardens add to the whole ambience coupled with the numerous choices of eateries for that all important evening meal, it is truly a destination well worth a consideration if planning a future holiday. If venturing to Turkey for the first time, as was the case with us, what a wonderful introduction to the aegean coast. Thank you voyage for a holiday to remember.

Room Tip: Deluxe rooms are well worth the extra.

We have just arrived back from a week break at The Voyage Torba in Bodrum. On 1st impressions hotel was amazing. Situated about 20minutes from the airport, we arrived to a open air reception and bar area with stunning gardens. We had paid through Thompson's for a room upgrade, which we were told we had. Our room was spacious, very clean and had a big balcony over looking the gardens. Our fridge had half opened bottles of Fanta and opened bags of peanuts. The food was good, although it did seem that the food was mainly catered for Germans, but after all there were a lot more Germans than any other nationality! Lots of chocolate at breakfast and yogurts. Food is made on mass for the many people that stay in the hotel so can sometimes be a bit cold but on a whole food good and lots of choice. We ate in 3 of the a la carte restaurants, 1st in the Greek which was amazing... lots of atmosphere and Greek dancing and food and wine was fab! Then we ate in the Italian and the Mexican but had to leave on both occasions as there were cats everywhere and due to the being stray and being fed by the hotels guests they were very aggressive, One cat bit and clawed my other half hands as he stroked it and in the Mexican they were trying to jump up on our table and it put me off my food.
The pools are gorgeous and water park lots of fun... even for adults!
All in all hotel is great, especially the guest relations manager who made our stay a lot better, if they could get rid of cats and find a rep who knew her her job a bit better or acted like she cared would be the perfect hotel!

Ps watch out for a couple called Collin and Trish.
