We took a one week break here in October having previous been to the Nielson Resort in Lesvos, Greece on several occasions but always in full summer.
Compared to Lesvos this is a much smaller resort but with no reduction in facilities available, indeed with the same number of ski boats for many fewer guests we managed four or five tows in a week compared to a couple in Lesvos.
There is a much higher proportion of local staff here than in their Greek resorts, and this seems to be a very good thing. The service in the bar and restaurant was absolutely first class and the food was rather more imaginatively prepared. The UK based staff in Greece, although sometimes very good, do have a habit of forgetting who it is who is on holiday and who is supposed to be providing a service. No such issues here, indeed the UK staff seem to take their lead from the locals, or perhaps out of university vacation time they were of a different cloth as they also were faultless.
Only one issue – I wouldn't go here if you don’t get on with dogs or are concerned about your children around them as there are five or six who wander around the hotel grounds and indeed the outdoor restaurant despite the staff’s occasional efforts to chase them off.
