We arrived very early morning and were helped to our apartment with our bags. Try to have some money available as he wont leave without a tip and doesnt like english coins which was all we had.
The room itself is large but also very basic. Dont expect a tv and home comforts as their are none here. The room did have quite a smell and was definately suffering from damp. We eventually traced the smell to a kitchen cupboard. It was very cheap however so we didnt expect great things.
The biggest downside is the noise from the bar. While ever someone is sat at it they will keep the music no matter what time it is and the sound will gradually get louder as time goes on. Try and book a room as near to the top bar as possible if you can for a good nights sleep.
The hotel is ideally place with a dolmus bus stop right outside which gets you into Bodrum in just 10 mins which is well worth a visit.
It is also just 5 mins from the main bars and restaurants in the resort. I would recommend Carpe Diem in particular, a little more expensive than others but gorgeous food.
The hotel is also right on the seafront. Avoid the part of the beach bang outside as the hotel charge you for sitting on it where as just a few yards either side its free.
All in all a fantastic holiday in a brilliant resort. We would go back but not to the same hotel.

Just returned from a 2 week stay at the seista beach in Gumbet. We had a really good time the hotel staff were brillant. The lads behind the bar would do everything to make you have a fun holiday (water polo, dancing on the bar,Play pool e.t.c). As its a self catering hotel, getting food can become a bit of a pain searching for restaurant and getting hassled by every restaurant owner. The hotel do a half board deal which is 10GBP a day for adults and 6GBP for children, With the half board you get a breakfast in the morning and starter ,dinner and dessert in evening. We done half board most days and thanks to emre we saved a lot of money. If your thinking of taking turkish money then i would think again, the turks love english money and you get things a lot cheaper if you pay in english. If you decide that you want to change to turkish lira while you are out in turkey then you can go to the hotel next door that offer a better exchange rate than the UK. Before we left for turkey we were dreeding are hotel room due the the reviews on this site. However we found it different to others. We was in the studios right next to the dolphin bar(the noisy one) and we only had trouble sleeping one night which was turkish night but i understand that the are they like us and have important days that they wish to celebrate. The turkish bath at the hotel is a big no, if you wish to no more about this then please email me as i dont wish to post are experience on the site. Bodrum market is a must if you have english money. The dolmus is brillant every 5 minutes,24hours and really cheap. If i had to complian about anything it would be the rose sellers on the beach, the minute you get out of the hotel you get constant hassle from turks trying to give you 'free' roses- which arent free and the hassle from the turkish men trying to get you in the shops, but once you put the striaght they leave you alone.... for 5 minutes!!. hope my review has been useful. When you see emre asking him if hes name is
EMRE NEVERLOSE.

Had the best holiday in the siesta, travelled with my sister and 2 teenagers, we cant wait to go back. The room was a brilliant size for us, location was excellent, staff superb, service excellent.....what more can you ask? weather was fantastic, location was great a 10-15min stroll along the beach, passing go-karting on the way, great for the kids and adults!, staff do ask you in to their bars but it's just their job they just need a polite 'no thanks' and they are on their way, they always remember you and will come to say hello.... no-one overly friendly so nothing to worry about. We did the jeep safari, was really good but we got quite burned, extra sun oil that day if you go, you dont feel the heat for the breeze. We did the 'dream girls' show, saw similar in marmaris, was ok but wouldnt go again....the dolmus is gr8, stops right outside siesta and brings you right back, no bother at all. Didnt have a bad meal anywhere so just follow your nose....some will pay taxi for you if you phone them from reception. Must mention the boys.....Emre, Ahmed, Engin, Ozzi, Nico, Akon, Ido all bottom bar and the lovely Moses in the top bar. The top pool is the best during the day, bigger pool and plenty sunbeds, for evenings definately bottom bar (dolphin), yes it's loud but they were putting side panels up when we were there to help cut down the noise, great atmosphere at the bar and the boys go all out to make you have a fun time. From cleaners to reception staff a big thank you for the fun time we had, we will see you all next june...

Just got back from siesta beach today and i wanted to warn families or those who expect to go to sleep before 4 in the morning. The noise from the Dolphin bar is unbearable i felt like crying, i am not an old fuddy duddy but if i wanted a nightclub i would go to Ibiza. The shame is that the complex is lovely the apartments are really nice and so are the staff, the Top bar is lush and the view is stunning.

Just got back from a week at the Siesta Beach Apartments stayed in room 1521 with a friend
We had a one bedroom apartment with balcony. The lounge was spacious with 2 large sofa beds in, coffee table, rug, lamps and desk. The bedroom had two single beds, large wardrobe, dressing table and bedside table. Bathroom was bath with shower over the top which was a great shower and good hot water. Very clean and again spacious. Kitchen had a small table with four chairs, two ring hob, kettle, sandwich toaster and large fridge and plenty of cutlery plates etc. The decor was modern and there was maid service every day. No TVbut who needs a TV on holiday lol!! The grounds were lovely and gardens very well kept.
The apartments have two pools top and bottom both are nice and of similar size and have their own bar.
They have their own Turkish Bath and massage centre. The turkish bath was £10 and guests who had one said it was very good. I had an oil massage which was 30 lira and worth every penny!
The Dolphin Bar at bottom pool was great and the pool atmosphere was always good.
The restaurant prices are very reasonable as it is open to non residents too and we ate there a couple of times food was great.
There is a shop on site in the reception to get the basics.
The staff were great and made the holiday Ozzy, Nico and Ahmet from the Dolphin Bar are always happy and a great laugh and i miss them already!
The location is at the end of the bay so 5-10 mins walk to centre. The Dolmus to Bodrum stops right outside the Siesta which is perfect.
All the previous reviews say about the noise and loud music but this didnt seem to be a problem and although the bar stays open late they were conscious of turning music down after a certain time not to disturb guests.
Would recommend the siesta beach for great staff, service and clean spacious apartments. Big thanks to all the staff and hope to see you later in the year!
Any questions PM me!

if you want a holiday where you go out all the time and go clubbing and come back to your accomodate in the small hours then this is the place for you.

If however, you are a couple or a family with children, you will be kept awake by the music at the siesta and the adjoing jasmine. The siesta seems to play the music as loudly as it can possibly manage. This is a real shame, if they just turned the music down by half then this would be a great accomodation and would suit a wider variation of travellers. At night, you could hear the music even with ear plugs.

The actuall accomodation is clean and comfortable, they pool areas in high season would be very busy.

The food that we had of an evening there was ok. However for lunch and breakfast it was reasonable.

the best asset is the staff, all friendly and helpful.
