I keep coming back to Siesta Beach because it's absolutely wonderful! It is perfect for the young and even families. Everything is quite local, shops, main bar street and beach. The staff at Siesta Beach are superb. Anything you need and they will make sure they attend to you. They make you feel very welcomed and there is always something happening every night. The entertainment is great! Music is always blaring and everyone's always dancing and the staff always get you in the mood for a great night! There are plenty of nice restaurants to eat at along the beach which is 5mins away. The rooms were always cleaned daily. The hotel is in a perfect location and I wouldn't choose to stay anywhere else. Definitely choose the place if you'd like to enjoy a party atmosphere in the evenings and great fun during the day. Bar street is a 10min walk where its full of clubs, bars and restaurants and it has more young atmosphere.

Room Tip: Choose a room away from the Dolphin Bar/ hotel reception if you don't want to be kept up all nig...

These apartments are set in beautiful grounds and are clean and comfortable. The staff are all friendly and love to make you laugh and make your holiday fun. The food is great, however with so many places to eat within the resort it is definitely worth trying food outside if the hotel itself. The hotel is situated just outside of the main resort but only a short walk away! I would say should you wish for a relaxing holiday with no noise and to get away from the hustle and bustle of home life then I wouldn't recommend the Siesta Beach or Gumbet, it is very much a resort for the young or young at heart (as per the title)however for me this is exactly what I was looking for in a holiday.
Would I return? After visiting the Siesta and Gumbet 4 times I think I've exhausted my time there however you never know in the more distant future!!

We stayed in siesta beach in may and september in 2012 and we absolutely loved it. The rooms were lovely and spacious. The staff in the entire hotel are absolutely amazing and are always willing to do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

We spent most of our time in dolphin bar , no need to go anywhere else when the boys at dolphin bar kept u entertained all night long . The vacation wouldnt have been the same without JD, little Ziggy , Nico, Akon,Hakan, Ahmet, Yilmaz , Big Ziggy and all of the other awesome guys.

We already booked our stay in May 2013 and counting the days !

Lots of love Siesta,
Heidi & Gundy

Stayed here for 2 weeks 20th June - 4th July. Have stayed here for many years and this must have been the best yet. The Siesta is in a fantastic Location at the end of the bay but only a 10 minute walk into Gumbet. Aviod the rose and bracelet sellers along the beach. The room we had was fantastic, The view from the top pool is stunning. Had breakfast every morning at the Siesta very good value for money and the service was excellent. Food in the evening is also excellent. Entertainment was good but have to say a special thanks to Nico, Akin and Alpay for making it extra special. Engin is their photographer and what fantastic photos he takes and good value for money. Our room was always cleaned, plenty of clean towels and beds changed regulary. Cleaners work hard and are very friendly. In all the years we have been going I have never heard of anyone having money taken from their rooms. We always get a safe but have left money and things in the apartments and it has never been touched. The grounds at the Siesta are always clean and tidy. Ahmet in reception was wonderful in fact all the staff are wonderful and will go out of their way to help you. I can not say anything negative about these apartments and can not wait till we return next year. This year our group ages ranged from 64 years to 8 years and all had a ball. Thanks again to all the staff for another memorable holiday xxxx

An honest review in my opinion. Stopped here in 2010,2011 and used the facilities there in 2012, this was because the dates we wanted the complex was full, regret not booking earlier as we stayed a couple of doors down and we were not impressed and there is a review of that place elsewhere.
So you could say we have been here three consecutive years the amount of time we spent there, I have got to know the staff very well,Nico, Akon, BIg and Little Ziggy, JD, Alpay and many others who have worked there and consider them friends. These lads go out of their way to ensure you have a good time on holiday.
The accomodation is of a very high standard and the complex in general is very clean and tidy and located in what i consider an ideal spot for the restaurants and bars.
The entertainment is second to none, from the incredible Breakdance Crew to Fire Eater and Mr Flexible and of course the traditional Turkish night with food and excellent entertainment with traditional Dancers and a genuine Belly Dancer.
The music is turned down as the night progresses and i have seen very little of the drunkedness that seems to blight certain places,we go as a family who's ages range from 50 to 8 and we find it caters for everyone.
I have no problems with this complex at all and have booked to go back next year and look forward to my annual family holiday.

Had an amazing holiday at the Siesta Beach Apartments in Gumbet. To say it was my first time in Turkey all together, I will definitely be returning and most likely to Siesta Beach.
When we arrived, we were taken to one of the back rooms of the hotel which was awful - it had no windows, no balcony, left over food in the fridge and was so dated. Considering we had probably paid the same price if not more than the people in the nice rooms we'd walked past, we were a little gutted! However, we went to reception to complain and we were kindly given a different room, nearer the front of the hotel and it was a really nice room, with a balcony, more modern and had a nice view (at least what you expect when you pay a large amount of money for your holiday). Our room was cleaned at least once every other day and we had new bed sheets and towels frequently throughout our 11 days there! (As our holiday was a girls holiday, 3 young girls - the cleaner mentioned to us that groups of girls/guys i.e. younger parties, they take you to the rooms that aren't as good as the majority of the hotels rooms - my advice would be if this happens to you, don't be afraid to complain at reception, they are very helpful and will change your room!!)
The highlight of our holiday really has to be the staff at the siesta beach apartments - literally every single man that works there was so welcoming and friendly! It caters for all ages at the Dolphin Bar - the entertainment over dinner is amazing and the music, dancing and fun DOES carry on until the early hours of the morning. On many occasions we came back from the strip at 4/5am and they were all still up partying (we don't know how they do it).
The food at the hotel is fabulous! Obviously being on holiday, we did want to try some different places, but at the end of the day we realised the Siesta was the best food around! So cheap and all of it was great!
Sometimes hard to get a sunbed around the pool, but they also have sunbeds at the front of the hotel on the beach that belong to the Siesta. (We never had a day where we couldn't get a bed on the beach or around the pool). The pool boys staff were so helpful, always coming round to ask if you wanted a drink - they all work so hard and are so friendly!
The location of the hotel is in a great spot, right on the beach and a short walk along the beach to the strip/centre of gumbet. I would also recommend a day in bodrum, there is a Dolmas that runs every half an hour from right outside the hotel that takes you straight to bodrum for about 3 lira! Its a great day out to do something different! (lots of shopping and nice places to eat/drink).

Cannot speak highly enough of my holiday in Gumbet, cannot wait to get booking to go back HOPEFULLY next year! Still stay in touch with most of the staff on facebook and hope they will all be there next year:)
Thanks for making our holiday so memorable!
