We stayed at Sunhill this august.... what a fantastic holiday!!!
4 of us travelled, 2 adults 2 children aged 11 and 8.....we arrived at around midnight and shown to our room which was lovely and clean. It stayed that way for the whole two weeks we were there, the cleaners work tirelessly and earned the well deserved tips we left them.
My first thing to do that morning was a turkish bath - Ali and Kemal are FANTASTIC!!!! Kemal did my massage which left me feeling soooooo relaxed.
Yes there are alot of steps, but it does say that in all the reviews and brochures so you cant really moan about it!
The food was really nice, always something to eat. The staff in the restaurant are very welcoming and friendly, as were all the staff there.
I would definitley go back to this hotel, the kids loved it and spent most of the 2 weeks in the pool!!!! I would also be happy to recommend this hotel to anyone - especially if you dont have an issue with steps!!!!!!

On arrivel (2am-ish) one of the staff greeted us and pulled our suitcase to reception and leter to our rooms. Glad that he did because there are a few stairs we was lucky to be on a ground floor but after eating 3 times a day and plenty of it i was greatful for the exercise! We was given our room key, a baguette and a drink to keep us going until breakfast.
Breakfast caters to all, Continental, boiled eggs, beans, loads of different types of bread! yogurt cereal etc. There was also a man making omelets on the BBQ every morning. Lunch was always a nice verity, always loads of salad every meal. Dinner, BBQ guy would be cooking something different every evening which we thought was great! they always changed the hot food choice in the evening. We didnt eat out once. Rooms were spacious, clean (four girls sharing), AC amazing and worth it! Staff were great,Jimmy the entertainer was great they really love children and keeping them entertained. Turkish bath was amazing, well worth it just make sure you have it done at the start and put loads of suncream on after. Free lift to the beach (water amazing and we did some water sports)and back everyday where they'll do everything for you (drinks, Food etc). The thing we wasnt looking forward to was walking into the town as the first thing you see when you get to the hotel is a huge hill but if you find the level way round you'll be fine. The hotel is not far from the centre its just perfect actually, it can get loud there with the music from the bars. When i got home i told me brother about it and he has booked to go in Aug.
Great hotel, beautiful views, great staff i will definately be returning! Ps. You must go to the mud baths and turtle beach!

Room Tip: ask for ground floor if possible!

after reading the reviews i was not sure what to expect. i went with my family from dublin and the entertainment was rubbish. I do not no who mr nice was but when we wre there it was jimmy and ozgie. they were good but there was not enough entertainment. all staff were very nice except the daytime barmen and the manager that if you say hello to he would just walk right by you. the best staff were david the nightime barman, the waiters and ali and his friend in turkish bath also the cleaners the rooms were spotless. the photograther serkan was really nice aswell. the food was ok always found something to eat even if it was just a roll and something. drinks were poor watered down . even the water was not great. well overall my stsy here was not very good after been to turkey before i was expecting much more !!!

Room Tip: the rooms were very nice

Poor service for an all-inclusive hotel, the food was VERY POOR only a small selection available on two small food trollies. for breakfast everyday for 2 weeks all we could eat was egg and bread and dinner was mostly wedges, rice, more potato and sometimes beef. easy to get a sun lounger even at 9am, rooms were clean but they cut corners like not changing the sheets for 2 weeks we did a test with a pen in all 3 rooms!! and the steps you get used to after about the 14th day, pool was clean nice but small and you would get better in a 2 star hotel. bars out in gumbet town were okay but a bit dodgy also all drinks in the town everywere you went were 10 lira = £4.30 and watchout for the locals on the way home they allways try to provoke you so you hit them then you have to pay them if you get arrested. i could list about 100 things that are wrong with this hotel including cutting out your safety to save money, ohh and also i asked the bar man upstairs for one beer and one vodka and coke he picked up a dirty beer glass of the side when he thought i was not looking and poured the beer into it and gave it to me me and this chap standing next to were just laughing how bad that was.

AND THE MUSIC WAS JUST TOO LOUD AND HARD TO GET TO SLEEP BEFORE ABOUT 1-2AM.

DONT GO !!

Room Tip: dont go if you can help it!!
