Hotel was nice. Pool very pretty. Our holiday was spoilt by the disgusting food. Every day the same. Hot food was cold and whatever you had for dinner the night before, would be cut up and put on the cold buffet the next day, and the day after if any was left. Had to ask every day for butter but usually told it was finished. Also never any milk for tea, even when you asked for it. Constantly had to ask for cups, glasses etc.
Was charged £40 to keep the room for a few hours on day of departure. (110tl)

Stayed for 14 nights. Room very nice and kept clean, 606. Food very nice but repetative. Great swimming pool and children's pool. Manager rude and again no time for english visitors. Other staff members nice and friendly. We felt very lucky as when we arrived we got a room straight away as other english visitors were made to stay else where for upto 3 nights. Some were asked to move out again for a night after finallly getting a room. Olympic rep a waste of time and not helpful. We waited 2 hrs for our transfer bus to arrive outside the airport. When we approached the rep he said he couldn't do anything as he was only a rep and to contact main office when we return home. Is that not his role to sort out problems ?? A nice stay but would NOT return.

On arrival told "your room this way" and led to another grotty hovel of a hotel. When challenged the staff told us our room was not available until next day. It was late in the evening and even after speaking to the incredibly rude manager over the phone we realised this situation would not be resolved at this time. We were shown to a filthy room with a rubish tip outside our window. There was one proper bed and one camp bed!!! Sheets were stained and mattress was soiled. Outside our room was a very noisy generator that keep us from sleeping sll night. The door to our room kept opening and so we were not secure at any time. The furniture was basic and clearly sourced from a tip. The fridge stank and the tv did not work. The shower was good, but this failed to make up for everything else. We were told, after challenging the staff, that our room would be available the following day......
The next day, after a rather limited, tasteless, disgusting breakfast (yesterday dinner leftovers!!) we asked the staff when our room would be ready. We were told it would ready at 11:30, however it was still not ready until after midday. This involved alot of waiting around for us, after a sleepless night!!!
When we finally got into our room we discovered a non-functioning fridge and a dangerous, wire exposed key thingy (the thing you put your key in to get your lights to come on).
We were not given any information regarding all inclusive, nor were we given any explaination or apology. In fact when we spoke to the manager and showed him photos of the room we had been forced to stay in he called us liars.... Saying that WE had stained the sheets and that the camp bed was an EXTRA!!!! He was very dismissive saying that it was a one off. We had actually heard accounts of other young female English holidaymakers who had experienced exactly the same, some being forced to stay for up to 3 nights in the alternate hovel!!
The manager was incredibly rude and obnoxious. He clearly has little respect for English females and feels that he can get away with treating people this way.
Certain members of the staff were very pushy trying to secure "a date" , despite being told that we were not interested. We would like to send this message as a warning to others. Having read other reviews we have discovered this to be common practice for this establishment. PLEASE THINK TWICE IF YOU ARE AN ENGLISH HOLIDAYMAKER .....

We booked with Olympic who seem to be the only British tour operator at this hotel. Despite a 2 hour flight delay we still had to wait almost an hour for our transfer mini bus to arrive and take us to our hotels! This was a bad start - we were tired and just wanted to get to bed! Check in, thankfully, was very quick because we were the only couple dropped off at Ayaz Aqua. The friendly receptionist took us through reception, across a wooden bridge over the pool and into our room. I requested a ground floor room close to restaurant and reception when I booked and that was exactly what we got. There is a large fridge-empty, not even a bottle of water! There is a small TV on the wall and we could get BBC World News. There is also a bed-settee in the lounge area. The bathroom is nice with shower gel and hand wash in dispensers on the wall. Shower was more of a trickle but we managed. There was a hair dryer as well but I was glad I took my own because you have to keep your finger pressed on the button all the time or it goes off-that is slightly difficult for me! Large wardrobe with drawers etc. All in all we were impressed with the size of the room and the picturesque pool area. It was nice to sit on our patio area and still hear the music from the bar. Once you shut the patio door, however, any noise is gone. The bar closed at 11pm. As with most all inclusives, the food DOES get a bit repetitive, but we could always find something nice to eat. Breakfast was a bit disappointing I suppose. The chef only seemed to cook fried eggs. You could have 3 or 5 minute boiled eggs, cheesy bread sometimes and some sort of spicy sausage thing I think-I didn't fancy trying it! There were bowls of small rolls and portions of chocolate spread (yum!), jam and butter. There was bread and a toaster, a few cereals, pieces of sliced cheese, tomatoes, cucumber and so on. You could help yourself to coffee (very strong), tea, water and juice (squash) throughout the day. Alcoholic drinks were available from 10am to 11pm. Lunch and dinner were very similar. A cauldron of soup plus crusty loaves which you sliced yourself was your starter. There were 5 trays of hot food-this was typically rice, mixed peas, carrots, broccoli , auburgines stuffed with minced meat, chicken wings, meatballs or mackerel. On the salad table were lots of bowls of chopped tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, red cabbage, spring onion etc. Then there was bowls of sliced cheese and spicy meat plus salad cream etc. There was a table for the desserts-a different iced cake each night plus lots of little pieces of various cakes, apples, oranges, grapes, sliced melon and plums. A word of warning-if you dared to try and help yourself even a MINUTE before 7.30pm in the evening, you would be told to wait! At 7.30pm there would then be a long queue of people waiting to get their dinner. 2 or 3 times a week, at about 8.10pm there would be some acrobats or jugglers, or dancers. This would last for about half an hour. Once a week there was a raffle. The winners would win jewels etc. We won! There was a catch! We had to go to the jewellers the next day were we were given our sapphire. It would cost £900, then £200, then £100 to make a silver ring and have the stone set into it. We declined and were given our gem and a lift back to the hotel again. Our flight home was late and so we requested to keep our room on. We had to speak to the manager who said he had a problem! He said there was a problem with the electricity in some of the rooms and if we slept in the hotel over the road on our last night then we could come back again in the morning and keep our room until 8pm when we were being picked up. There would be no charge to keep the room. Although this was obviously a bit inconvenient we decided to accept the offer in order to have a room for the last day of our holiday. The room over the road was TINY! I have a feeling that the hotel had too many bookings coming in with not enough people going home early enough to accommodate the new comers. If we had not accepted the offer then I think someone may have had to sleep over the road on their first night, as I have seen mentioned on other peoples reviews! One last thing - unusually, for an all inclusive, pool towels are NOT provided.

Room Tip: Ground floor rooms are best in my opinion. If you're on a higher floor you'll have lots of...

We ( party of four )stayed here for one week from the 17th-24th September 2012. Our first impressions were not that impressive. The toilet in the room was smelly and the shower was mouldy. The handle on the patio door fell off in my husbands hand, as he opened it to let some air into the room. The staff were fantastic at reception, we informed them of the issues and they rectified them straight away. The toilet just needs flushing a few times and the smell disappeared. The door was fixed. The room was spacious, twin beds, a little hard, air conditioning and a television. The room has a fridge so you can store drinks and snacks. We had an excellent view of the sea from the balcony, this was cleaned every day.

We can honestly and genuinely say, ALL of the staff are fantastic at this hotel, they are welcoming, friendly and knowledgable about what is on offer in the bodrum and Gumbet area, they even did not mind contacting the Rep to reassure us, regarding our transfer to the airport. They offer an excellent service working with local businesses, getting discounted rates for guests at the hotel.

The food was really good, if you don't mind queuing behind people who are waiting to run for the food as soon as it is meal times, and finding a table can be difficult as people tend to sit at the tables an hour before the set meal times. If you arrive for a meal later than the meal start time, there is not an issue. The food was excellent, offering a range of meals, from a large range of cold and hot meals. The dessert section was excellent, offering plenty of fruit too. But again, get there early as we noticed people took bowls of fruit to their room ( greedy ) and this means people do miss out. The hotel also provide afternoon biscuits, you really do not go hungry.

The cleaner was a very happy cheerful guy, the bed sheets were changed regularly and we had fresh towels every day.
The bar staff, Managers and reception staff, we're friendly and helpful. The waiters especially Pedro and Ferdi were excellent and very friendly, the restaurant was very clean and they were happy to talk to all of the guests.

The hotel is a short walk from the beach, about fifty yards. This is very clean and has plenty of sunbeds. The town is a short walk away. It offers plenty of pubs, shops and clubs, because it is a short walk away, this does not affect people in the hotel. We found this holiday to be very relaxing around the pool, again get to the pool early as we found people were placing towels on the beds and leaving for the day, which is not fair. The pool was really emaculate and clean, not even a leaf in it !!!

The bar closes at 23.00, if you want another drink, the beach bars and town does not close until late. We had a brilliant stay and would be happy to stay here again, thanks Ayaz Aqua.
