Hotel Bagevleri is to be added into the wonders of the world, what agreat place to stay 2 minute walk to the very fine shale beach 5-10 minute walk to the famous bar street although we only visited twice we never had a drink there as we had our 9 year old son with us. Dolmus stop outside the hotel and a taxi rank just up the road getting about was no problem although stopping at the Hotel Bagevleri you don't need to go anywhere else the hotel has the best exchange rate in Gumbet the Turkish breakfast is big and plenty with fruit juice on request at no extra price if you miss that breakfast the cooked english breakfast at 10 tl is a belly buster one of these and you won't need to eat till evening but if you want more the lunchtime pizza's are all homemade and are a must(we had one of these and a portion of fries between 3 of us) and then onto the evening meal's this chef is the bee'sknee's although we never saw him/her the meals were out of this world fresh full of flavour and well presented. Now for the hotel we stopped in room114 and it was massive plenty of room for the three of us with extra room for a sofa plenty of wardrobe space and a tv and small fridge thrown in for good measure we had a shared balcony which you could put a table and chairs on it and still have plenty of room on it. Now for the staff although we did'nt get to know all there names they all worked there backsides off for you and loved to talk to you so they can learn english but the main ones we got to know was Peter the crazy funny barman who i hope get's off to Thialand for his nice 2 month break very polite and says what he means great to be around then there's Renzo this man can get you anything you need and makes no fuss he is the Turkish Dellboy and to be quiet honest he made our holiday a great one because this man arranged 3 trips for us and i am glad we used him listening to some of the other people. First we went on his jeep safari with Oz the best ever safari we've been on, 2 jeeps 10 people quiet spot for lunch unlike the 100's on other trips and Oz made sure we was cooled down frequently as water was in good supply our son loved this as he had got a water pistol and war had begun. Then organized a day at the Aqua park what a day of fun and laughter although it does get very hot in the sun so take plenty of cream plenty of different slides some of which leaves your stomach behind and then onto Renzo's famous boat trip with Captain Halil what a gloreous day out quiet boat not over crowded or music blaring out the best boattrip ever with plenty of stops gorgeous food and afternnon tea whilst taking in the gorgeous blue seas lovely mountain scenery this was a great full day out. So for a bit of travel advice see Renzo for your day trips and he won't let you down. So to some up this review book now to avoid dissapointment if you've already booked you lucky people but we've only got a year to wait now and enjoy this paradise in Turkey as so many others have before you....................BIG THANK YOU HOTEL BAGEVLERI FOR A GREAT AND WONDERFUL TIME AND WE ARE ALREADY PRICING OUR FLIGHTS FOR NEXT YEAR SO WE'LL SPEAK TO YOU SOON RENZO.....

A party of six actually checked into the hotel next door (dilek- only redeeming feature is David the barman) we stayed at the bagevleri for the last night, was given a great apartment.. Very clean! The pool area is well maintained and clean!
The hotels hospitality cannot be matched by any hotel in gumbet. They are attentive and genuinely strive to make your holiday experience fab :) the sex on the beach cocktails are by far the best in gumbet!!

For an amazing meal try red dragon set menu 13 for two but would easily feed 4... Gerrard will look after you :)

Great hotel in an excellent location and very helpful friendly staff. Nice clean room with added bonus of a fridge. Good size pool and nice meals.
We booked 3 good trips with Exen Tours, 2 minutes walk up the road.
Had nice meals at Casablanca, Tempo and Red Dragon.
Top tip - change most of your money to Lira when you get there, you get a better exchange rate than in UK

GIVE IT A TRY!! YOU'LL GO BACK!!our 10th time here and we still come back, hotel is just right for us with only 2 floors and the odd 3rd. iif it gets mediocre reviews one year it goes out all to impress the following, showing they actually do take on board their customers comments. the rooms are airy and yes aircon is extra but worth it for boat trips and turkish baths or r anything speak to renzo he will always be able to deliver your request. .every year we meet new people who decide there n then they are going to return so next year there will be even more of us!! everyone is made to feel welcome and help is just a question away!! this year was my 50th birthday with friends and freinds of friends, new and old ones and family, we had 22 people at the table and the service was terrific, with everyone wanting something different, it was all served together so even a big occasion can be catered for without putting anybody else out. i'll let you into a secret with drinks, and meals with or without starters and desserts came to roughly only £200/£250 about £10 per head. see ya sept 11 x our favourites are:- boat trips on alis boat-the parrot restaraunt in gumbet- the windy bay- the penquin in bodrum and the marina at night!1
