i stayed here just a couple of weeks ago and quickly on arrival was greeted by gigi, he joked on from the offset, the facilities were what we expected but YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.
the whole hotel was booked and everyone we met had the same to say about the hotel, Its a good place to go if your with friends looking for a good laugh and the strip is only a 2 minute walk along the street. me and my friend are both booking up for next year and staying longer as a week just wasnt enough.

On arrival we asked for a room with a balcony and was told there weren't any left, the room we were allocated was terrible with a terrible odour from the drains, we refused this room, we were then offered another room....with a balcony! This was a great improvement although basic as we kind of what we expected. Once settled in we had a fab time, the staff were very nice and friendly and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you all.

Room Tip: Pool view rooms are the better ones

We stayed here july for a week after booking it as a last minute deal. Lovely weather but it meant you needed to use the pool which was terri bly dirty rooms weren't cleaned properly and had to ask for clean towels we always book last minute deals so don't expect much. The bar man gigi is lovely very helpful. The hotel is in a great location right near bars and shops. If you chose to go to a restaurant try the divers garden lovely food and reasonably priced. Also if you go to turgetries market be careful as we were robbed of money by one of the store holders whilst paying. If you want a cheap getaway and don't mind using the beach then its ok. Happy holidays.

The hotel is really basic, but what more do you want from a room than a place to put your head down, bathroom more of a wet room and everything gets wet.. however room was always cleaned and tidied every day.... there is no hairdryer so if you are booking or booked remember to take one...... staff really friendly and helpful GG (the Bar manger) can speak fluent English other members of staff only a little bit... the food was really nice and everything was made fresh to order.... Hotel only a 2 minute walk on to bar street where there is a lively strip of clubs and bars and row of resturants.... you dont have to worry if you want to stay out late but dont want to stay on bar street... GG and 'the Boss' keeps the bar open for as long as you are in always up for a laugh and and treats everyone as individuals..... had an amazing Holiday thanks to all the staff and company that we met whilst staying at the hotel..... will definatly consider going back next year!!

Room Tip: Try and and get a room with a balcony... these are limited but are nicer rooms

terrible terrible terrible, every thing about the hotel was terrible, the staff rude and unhelpful, the manager appered to be on a high all the time and his sons prayed on young woman as me and my friend found out when staying at the ugur hotel. the only positive was the room was very clean on arrival but on the whole duration of my stay my towels and sheets were never changed!

just home from a weeks holiday in gumbet and staying at this hotel. the room was very very basic and tiny with no balcony, it only had one plug which wasn't very ideal for three teenage girls. The bathroom was not the best it was just a wet room, with the shower hose hanging on the tap, it didnt clip on the wall so we had to hold the shower hose and wash with one hand. the water went from boiling to freezing instantly and the pressure would vary also. but we expected this for what we paid.
The pool area was very nice and the owner was very helpful. although we did have a problem with the night time manager and found him very 'creepy' as we were three teenage girls we knew how 'friendly' turkish boys can be but we did not expect him to bang on our door most nights for quite a bit of time, and if we got walked home from anyone he would have something to say about it and give us dirty looks.

The hotels location is good, close to the nightlife about a 5minute walk to bar street, but far enough away that you cant hear the music at night.
All and all we had a fab holiday but i dont think we would book back at the ugur hotel.

Room Tip: ask for a room with a balcony!
