I stayed at this hotel with a friend, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were greeted late at night and taken to our clean, modern room. We walked round to the beach to find some food (it was about 1am when we arrived), and although I cannot remember which bar we went to, we had a beer and they kindly ordered us takeaway pide delivered to the beach.

We had a turkish bath at the hotel as the staff were friendly and I only wanted a lady to do the wash and massage which they easily offered. We had it on the first day so we could get scrubbed to try and get a better tan after some serious exfoliation! It was relaxing and pleasant.

There are 4 pools, 2 in the main bar area. We found the pool past the mini supermarket was always quiet and for a couple of days we were the only ones in it. We walked down to the beach most days in the afternoon which was only a few minutes walk, using the free sunbeds on the beach. The beach is beautiful. We hired a pedalo one afternoon which was fun.

The food is lovely, if you cannot find something to eat then you must be incredibly fussy. Breakfast included traditional Turkish foods such as egg, honey, bread etc, as well as hot food options, cereals and cold meats and cheese. Some food was reused again, such as chicken casserole using the meat from the night before but there was loads of choice and freshly made bread available at every mealtime. We enjoyed the Turkish night, there was fresh kebab meat and kofte burgers which were gorgeous. There was always a soup and a different meat, often freshly cooked on the outside grill. Waiters were friendly and efficient, and would serve drinks to your table as well as being able to go to the bar for them.

We booked a boat trip from Jimmy (outside the mosque on the beach) who delivered what he promised. We wanted a small boat and there were only 21 on it so there was loads of room and it wasn't too busy getting on/off the boat.

We ate out a few times, the Lemon Tree was by far the best, if you go down in the day you can reserve a front table on the terrace overlooking the beach which was gorgeous. We went there most nights for cocktails and drinks as the staff aren't pushy, but are friendly and you get looked after.

Don't listen to any bad reviews, we booked this as a 3 star hotel, it by far exceeded any expectation we had. The whole place is clean and you can get fresh pool towels from the spa everyday which was useful. Staff cannot do enough for you, especially the reception staff. We stayed out til gone 3am in Bitez, the pace is relaxed and chilled out but if you want more nightlife Gumbet and Bodrum are easy to get to, and there are plenty of taxis.

We are planning to return next year, this is a lovely hotel and you won't be disappointed. Someone told us it is run by Dutch people which would explain all the dutch people (who weren't rude and everyone just got along), but it means that the hotel is modern and the staff understand what we want from our holiday!

Go.

Room Tip: We had 363 which was next to the restaurant and had no noise problems at all.

Bitez Garden life is a great hotel, although it looks more like a village. They have 4 swimming pools, in one you can really swim your laps. Food is good, people are kind. There was also English food.
A had a lot of backpain but the beds are good, not too hard!

One tip: do not go to the spa in the hotel, it is way to expensive!

This was out 10th time to Turkey, so no novice, Chose this Hotel after reading all the good reviews and taking the bad ones with a pinch of salt. Travelled with family which included our one year old granddaughter. On arrival we were told our rooms were not available, the Hotel was fully booked, and sent to another Hotel close by, it was late so just wanted to get settled. There were no amenities so had to go to a little shop up the road to get water/juice for us all .Two or three other families had also been treated the same. We were told a taxi would collect us in the morning but it never did, some of us dragged our cases back to the Hotel ourselves and some got a taxi .On arrival for the second time we were all told our rooms were still not ready they would be available in one hour, we went for breakfast and returned later to be told the same again. This time a few CROSS words and the demand to see the Manager and Guest Relations Lady were spoken and we eventually got our rooms, they were very nice. good decoration and very clean. The towels changed daily, bottled water daily, beds comfy. The whole place is very clean and the gardens pretty. Food was fine, no complaints, we always found something to eat even the baby who was spoilt rotten by all the staff. There are 4 pools all very clean ,entertainment was a bit hit and miss so we did go for a stroll a few times, just go out the back gate and across the car park you can see the beach front . VONA, 1st on the right is well worth a visit, just for a juice/cocktail or a meal, everyone very friendly 1st class, also PAGODA for a full English.
ALL IN ALL we had a very good time, nice and relaxing and would even consider going back.

Room Tip: higher the number, better the rooms room 466 was perfect

This was an ideal hotel. There are 4 pools catering for those who want peace and quiet and those who want more action. The rooms and grounds are clean and well maintained. The buffet in the restaurant was excellent. However, if you are looking for typically English food then this hotel will not be for you. The food was mainly Turkish, which let's face it if you're in Turkey then why would you want English food?

The staff are all very friendly and if you take the time to learn and bit of Turkish it will pay dividends.

The beach is a five minute walk away. There are plenty of restaurants and chill out places to choose from. Although the hotel was all inclusive we ate out every night.

All in all we had a fantastic time and will be going back next year with our family. We think Bitez will be perfect because it is so close to Gumbet that our teenagers can spend their evenings there in 24hr bar street but for those in our party who like a quieter time Bitez will be perfect.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony/terrace.

Just returned after a 9 night stay with my boyfriend. We were allocated room 260 which is a ground floor with a balcony in a good position close to the 2 main pools, restaurant and reception.
Our room was fine for the 2 of us with twin beds which we pushed together. Room cleaned daily and the maid also gives you 2 bottles of water a day.
The hotel grounds and gardens are beautiful with lots of quiet shaded areas to sit and relax. Lots of cushions near the library and the pool table etc.
We didn't have any problems with the food at meal times lots of Turkish food with vegetables, great choice of salads, fresh bread, meat and fish. The Tuna they cook on Fish night Mondays is to die for! Enjoyed the Kebabs too on Turkish night. We ate in the A la carte restaurant which was pleasant and is a small intimate area with a set menu.
We didn't have any problems in getting a sun bed and spent all of our time around the relax pool. Towards the end of our stay a lot more families with young children were starting to use this and obviously the kids were shouting, splashing and jumping in and the guest relations lady did come down and ask them to move as it is a quiet area. Perhaps if they made this pool adults only it would cause less hassle to people with kids.
We had a Turkish bath in the hotel which was lovely as having been to Turkey before 6 times I had never had one.
The entertainment was a bit naff so we tended to go for a walk along the front and have a cocktail or 2 in a local bar.
You can cut through the car park to the beach which will take less than 5 mins to walk.
Dolmus into Bodrum takes around 15-20 mins and cost 3.50TLpp and a taxi into Gumbet costs 13TL so cheap to get out and about.
Thoroughly enjoyed Bitez and the hotel and would recommend this hotel as a good 3star option.

This was my second stay at this hotel (5th time in Bitez) and I will return again next year. A few things could be improved on but overall the hotel is very good. Food is nice and plenty of it, no complaints there. The restaurant staff were all new this year and not enough of them - they were often behind with clearing and resetting tables but not their fault as simply understaffed - always very pleasant and helpful if asked for anything. The restaurant bar was not restocked often enough - the staff often had to run to the pool bars for supplies. Also, the pool bars do not seem to have enough glasses / plastic cups for the amount of guests. Other than an obvious understaffing problem a great holiday was had. Four pools to choose from and various seating areas around the gardens. Our room was quite large too. Location is excellent, five mins walk to beach and bars. Easy bus ride to Bodrum or Gumbet. Will definitely stay here again next year.

Arrived at the hotel at midnight only to discover the two rooms we'd booked and paid for were not available until the morning. We had to share 1 room which was like a prison cell dark dingy and no balcony!! couldn't even open the window it was wired up so very claustrophobic. No toilet roll either! I went to reception in the morning and was told to come back after breakfast and our rooms would be ready. They were'nt. We eventually got 2 rooms after lunch that were very nice but next to reception so very noisy. The food was disgusting, cold awful queuing up like a school canteen. English egg and bacon was a solid cake of egg with a bit of pepperoni stuck in it.Restaurant opened at 7.30pm but nowhere to sit. we spent a extra £700 eating out at the amazing taverns but that defeats the purpose. The all incl was jus at certain times when it suited them. Went to the bar and ordered a coke for my son only to be told "no not til 10 o'clock" REALLY! thought it all incl. Ran out of tomato ketchup by Tue,ran out of coffee cups all the time. Had my vodka tonic out of warm plastic mug not nice. When did get 1 it wasn't coke more like 5p aldi's own. No ice creams available either. The pools were crowded I was actually touching the elbow of the bloke on the next sun lounger. The 'quiet' pool was full of kids and no bar so could'nt get a drink. Found all staff rude apart from Mustava & Nivarna. Had a turkish bath and sauna was brill Bella lovely the best part of the holiday according to my son. The tiny beach close by was pretty, clean, you can stay there all day free without buying anything. Must go to Analivia's Gumbet, amazing steak &they paid our taxi, The Royal did the same &food fab. Loved Turkey beautiful place would def return but not to Garden Life Hotel.

Room Tip: Dont accept the first room they offer as they try to fob you off with the old crap ones. Demand a be...

Dear Guest,

Thank you for your review, we are indeed sorry to read that you did not enjoyed your stay and that our provided service did not reach your expectation. Please kindly note that all local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages which are in our all-inclusive concept served till 23:00 o'clock. We have a ice-cream service for children every day from 15:00 until 16:00 o'clock at the Pool Bar and our restaurant is full only during a 45 minutes time frame. After this period, the restaurant has many available tables.
Please be assured that your comments have been shared with related departments, for necessary actions to be taken.

We look forward for another chance to deliver the best holiday ever.
