I loved this hotel, its location was perfect, right in the centre of bodrum but still not too loud at night. Loads going on here and right on the sea front. The food in this hotel is excellent, i enjoyed every single meal, loads of variety with kebabs and fresh pizzas every day! The pool was brilliant, we stayed at the quieter pool with the slide and the bar right next to it! Entertainment every night at the hotel, but there was also loads of bars nearby to go for a wander instead. I would definitely stay here again if i came to Bodrum.

Room Tip: Ask for beach facing

We stayed at Parkim Ayaz in late september for 2weeks with our 2 children, upon arrival we were greeted by the friendly reception staff and had our bags taken to our room by concierge who explained how things in our room worked. The hotel has a tranquil feel to it whilst in the grounds and is set over 3 different sections, the bubble pool and bar, the main pool and restaurant and the cossy bar and pool, we fortunately had a room over looking the bubble pool which was ideal as this meant our children could play by the pool and we could watch them if we needed to from our room, this was also nice at nite. The only downside to bring in this part of the hotel was the loud music from the bars that played until around 3am every night but after the first night or so you get used to it, the other downside is our youngest had to spend two weeks sleeping on a pull out sofa style bed as this hotel generally caters for three people per room.
We found the all of the staff very friendly, reception were very helpful if there was a problem at all.the cleaner was very efficient and the rooms were cleaned everyday and if you needed any extra items she would help you,the bed wasnt over comfortable in my opinion.
Peter pan on the water front was very helpful in booking water sports and excursions at a very decent price.
The Turkish bath at the hotel was lush and there was a great selection of foods for each meal and snacks served between at the poolside bars.
The children's activities weren't overly great but we weren't sure if that was because it was the end of season and the evening entertainment was a bit lacking but the hotel entertainment manager explained it was end of season and they relied on a company to send entertainment and as it was the end of season they only had limited acts so it was to be expected but your holiday is what you make it.

Room Tip: Around the Bubble pool is the best part of the hotel

We were recommended this hotel by Carol Bell in Thomas Cook, Carlisle, I can only presume she got Gumbet & Bodrum mixed up. We asked for a nice hotel, in a nice are with a few bars & restaurants but nothing too loud & busy, with a few shops & a bit of culture. We are mid 30's with no children, so wanted a choice of things to do on an evening not Bar Street with people dancing on tables until 4am. The hotel is clean but very dated, the food choice was good, but the alcoholic drink choice was limited. The rooms are very small & basic & most of the balconies have very little if any views. The cleaner was thorough & cleaned ever day at your convenience. We would recommend asking to stay in the rooms near the bubble bar if you are unlucky enough to be staying here. A lot of people asked to move & said these rooms were much nicer. Gumbet is for teenagers looking for cheap drink, kebabs & clubs open until the early hours. Shop keepers drive you mad trying to sell fake bags/shoes/perfume, they aren't really that good either. The best part of the holiday was getting the bus to Bodrum, it's so much nicer, quieter, the shop keepers are a lot less pushy & the bars and restaurants are nicer. The market at the bus station on a Tuesday is worth a look. Would have gone to Bodrum every day if we hadn't already paid for all inclusive. I read these comments & complain about peoples comments using saying they expect too much.....but all we can say is please don't stay here if you want a relaxing holiday it was such a disappointment, and I didn't expect a lot but it really was poor. The entertainment was poor, maybe because it was near the end of the season. Didn't really think staff were that helpful or polite. I am sure in the late 90's this hotel & area would have been lovely but it's like Blackpool/Ibiza, if that's what you want then great otherwise avoid.

I stayed here with my sister from the 27th September till the 4th October. When we arrived in the hotel we was greeted by lovely reception staff, and trolley boys then showed us to our room which was basic but that is all we payed for as that doesn't really bother us too much. We went straight to the bar like typical 18-19 year olds ha! there was a great choice of cocktails which were lovely and the staff at the ladybird bar were great! however the bar manager EMRA at the cozzy bar was not so.. he was a constant perv for the first 4 days and then once made friends with other guests refused to serve us alcohol, (which is an all inclusive hotel) as for the animation team they were constantly DEAD they never did nothing, I would have been more entertained by a snail! they relied on acts such as belly dancers to perform. They also pretty much begged us to go to bar street with them every night so management would think they are doing a good job and taking guests out and then telling us they would loose their job if we dont go trying to make us feel guilty. The bar shuts at 12 also. Peter pan sold us a really good excursion which was a boat trip and was accompanied by the lovely Güven ;) really nice guy! The food at parkim was good be prepared to try new food but they do have jacket potatoes, chips chicken and rice. As for reception staff the second night at parkim ayaz we left our key in the hotel room so we had to go and replace it at the main desk we got showed back to our room by a Turkish man called Mustafa (Trolley boy) he then forever pestered us!! everyday he brought us beach towels and tried to clean our room- he came in our room took of his top and tried it on with my sister and then got told to leave but if this wasn't enough the day we was leaving at 9 o'clock in morning we woke up to find him crouched beside our bed watching us sleep!!!!!!! he had collected himself a key from the main desk and sneaked into our room whilst we sleeping! We are currently filing a complaint about this as we couldnt do much due to eaving early in the morning. The only good thing about this holiday resort is that it is right next to bar street which is where we was every night! but for any young girls who are thinking about going on holiday to Gumbet by all means AMAZING place but DO NOT stay in parkim ayaz hotel!!! Go to Bodrum hotel and spa Resort resort instead... staying here in june 2013 and cant fault a thing!!

Myself and my partner (we're 25 & 27) stayed here from 20-30 September. The hotel is pretty big and right on the beach, which is lovely. We had a room right by Cozzy bar (which I emailed before we went to request) it was quite noisy if you want an early night but it didn't bother us. The room was basic but cleaned everyday with fresh towels provided. We met a couple there who's standard room was nicer but we were happy because of the rooms location (I think they're modernising slowly)
The staff are nice enough (except one on Ladybird bar hinting for tips) but we stayed at Cozzy most if the time anyway.
The food was brilliant, so much choice and lovely and fresh. The drinks were also great, big measures and lovely cocktails included (I recommend Ayaz Special).
There are some big dogs around but they don't bother you.
We went on 3 trips which we booked with a guy over the road from the hotel (Exen Travel). We liked him because he didn't pressure you and was honest about the trips. Boat trip is great.
Overall this was a great holiday and we're hoping to go back in May. Would recommend to anybody.
