Me and my family stayed here for a week from 12th Oct to the 19th..

My son aged four loved the slide and all the pools, my daughter (18th months) enjoyed the baby pool, service was good...

I enjoyed the food alot of choice, but no real sausages or bacon..

the only problem really was the size of the room very small but clean and as I only went to the room to shower or sleep. so did the job.

over all a lovely holiday...

The Parkim Ayaz was a BRILLIANT hotel. We stayed here last week (12th October - 19th October 2012). As we are a young couple, we were looking for somewhere to relax and have fun.
We arrived on the Saturday morning after our rather crappy Thomas Cook flight. They only do really late flights so may be worth doing some investigating and book this hotel through someone else! We arrived to the hotel, which is situated right on 'Bar Street'. It was noisy and busy that night, but nothing we were not used to from any normal night out in the UK. Our room was facing the Cozzy Bar, so we could hear the music from there until midnight, then a small amount from Bar Street after. It wasn't too bad but you do need to get used to be woken up by noisy neighbours stumbling in at 4am. They rooms and corridors are all marble so you can hear EVERYTHING in the hallways. This is the main downside. However, the rooms are standard, well kept and clean. Nothing fancy but we spent all of about 2 hours awake in the room a day so were not bothered. We had a lovely little balcony fancy Cozzy Bar and the pool, so this was a good room to have (1267). Lovely views of the beach etc too.

The Food - We started the week by eating at the A la carte Chinese which was very nice but nothing special. You get lots of food and was very tasty so this is recommended seeing as it is including in the 'all inclusive concept'. We also ate at Denny's which was amazing. We were given a table on the beach, right next to the seat, candle lit table with great service. The food was brilliant but too much for me. My boyfriend had steak and raved about it for the rest of the week. Again, highly recommended.
Following on from 2 great meals, we then went to the Dining Hall, which we were expecting to be OK but not Brilliant. We were very wrong as the food was also Brilliant! There was lots of selection and even the fusses person should be able to find something to eat. If you can't find something you like then theres something wrong with you! The meat is gorgeous, all food is freshly cooked and the choice is great. Dessert is a must so leave room. There was so many lovely looking desserts. A lot of fruit as well, if thats what you like.

The resort overall was perfect for our little holiday. My boyfriend and I found that there was something for everyone. We did not venture to Bar Street or to many neighbouring bars, as between Cozzy Bar and Ladybird Bar, you didn't really need to. The drinks were generous and no way watered down. You could drink all you liked from 10am until 12midnight, so we really found no need to spend money else were. (However Denny's cocktails were brilliant, but 10 lira extra!) The hotel provided entertainment every night which was interesting. We had a great time just chilling and enjoying what was on offer at the Parkim Ayaz. Some heavier drinkers and dancers may wish to venture to Bar Street.

WARNING - The only let down to the hoilday was that Thomas Cook were rubbish and the rep was no where to be seen. As it was end of season she might of gone home. She was quick to flog us their overpriced exercusions then bugger off. DO NOT BOOK A CRUISE WITH THOMAS COOK, especially the last day cruise. The last day cruise sounds great but you get dumped in a rank hotel around the corner from The Parkim Ayaz and put on a boat trip you could you book on the beach. It was a lovely day and wasn't spolit as a few of us went back to the Parkim for dinner and drinks (as the all inclusive bands last right up until midnight on your last day).

Execusions are safe to book with people along the beach outside the hotel. They are all very friendly but still be careful to make sure you get what you want.

SECOND WARNING - The flower people on the beach will try and rip you off. Walk away from them straight away, do not start talking to them. Just say 'No thank you' and be on your way. Once you stop you will be pestered for money until you give in. The hotel security guards are very good and try and help you if you do get stuck, but they do not always see you. You are fine as long as you are aware of these people.

Shopping - Bodrum is amazing for shopping. Go into Bodrum and get dropped at the habour. The bus from outside the hotel is 3 lira or a taxi was about 20 lira. The bus drops you at the bus station but just walk down to the habour and you'll find the aladins cave of shops. Just be careful not to get ripped off. Always get them down about 50%. Remember, the stuff is fake so make sure you don't pay too much for it!

Overall I would highly recommend the hotel and the country is beautiful. Make sure you go on a dalayan trip to the mud baths and see the turtles too :)

Room Tip: If you want a quiet hoilday, ask for a room near the ladybird bar. If you are not bothered, any room...

Travelled 24 sept for two weeks wife and myself late 40s ,On arrival at 10.30 pm shown straight to room,Requested quiet room away from main street, [sent email week before]. Right at back, 1746. Basic room but very clean away from noise, free air con, small balcony tv etc and lots of hot water etc . Maids very good, rooms cleaned daily clean towels and bedding changed every other day.
Hotel is mostly 2 storey buildings over large area, all grounds lawns pool area always been cleaned and tidied up.Two pools , no problem getting sun beds even at 10.30 am, refreshing change.[dont know what it is like in high season].It is situated right on beach at rear and on main street at front.
Food was fine, always plenty of choice, always hot and always different meats every night, only had chips once so it must be ok, free ice creams at 5 pm every day etc. Bars very good for Turkish all inc, beer, brandy, gin, vodka, peach snapps and lots of cocktails as well as soft drinks tea and coffee.
In with holiday, a meal at Chinese restaurant on front and also at roof top a la carte restaurant, well worth visit, 1 each week. All staff very friendly and helpful.
The only things that go against this hotel is the entertainment, or lack of it, [2 weeks, 2 water polo and 2 water arobics]entertainment team walk around, play pool and talk but thats it.Also pool around cozzy bar, DJ had his music blaring out over pool so loud you could not hear your own ipod etc or talk at times, also night time entertainment was very poor, never started on time and was only on for 15 mins.
This in a good hotel, ideally suited for all ages but it could be a very good one, been going abroad for many years and a good daytime entertainment programme creates a good atmosphere, shooting, archery, darts, even daft games, You dont have to join in but its there if you want it. We had a good holiday and may return if entertaiment etc sorted, good value for money .

Room Tip: If your a light sleeper email week before for quiet room, if your not happy on arrival go to recepti...

We stayed at the Parkim Ayaz in July 2012.

The flights into Turley are not great as we arrived at the hotel at 1am. We wetre given a room on the right hand side of the hotel by the entertainment pool. The room had 1 small window, a balcony which had no sunlight and backed onto another wall. We asked to be changed the next mornign and they changed us immediately, no questiosn asked. It feels they try their luck giving you a crap room and dont have any complaints when you asked to be moved.

The room on the other side was aloy quieter, which is what we were looking for and alot more spacious.

The hotel is OK, it does feel like it is 2 separate hotels which is abit of a shame. The pool area is too crowded and crammed in and you have to get down there at 7:30 to get a sunbed or you have no chance.

The food standard however is excellent. They make fresh omlettes every morning, fresh stoned baked pizza's at lunch and the array of food is freshly cooked, it could not be faulted.

We ate in the Ala Carte restarurant one night, the food was horrible and greasy and wish we has just eaten in the canteen as the standard so so much better. Trust me, do not eat in there!

The all inclusive drinks are excellent. The bar staff give you a good size drink so you are not queing up again 2 minutes after ordering.

In regards to location the hotel is right on the beach and has everything you need.

Overall, the hotel was OK and would I return, probably not to this hotel.

We're a young couple on our first holiday away together. We stayed at the Parkim Ayaz for 1 week and thought it was a very good hotel.

Accommodation:
The room we stayed in was small, clean and personally we thought we had a very good room despite it being on the noisier side of the hotel (room 1201- with balcony/sea view at extra cost). If you wanted to go to bed before 12 this room wouldn't be for you, but that didn't bother us as we always stayed up after 12. The hotel is a 4 star but in our opinion it is 3 star english standard. The hotel itself is nice, clean and simple and great value for the price we paid. The staff were also very friendly. Out of the hotels we saw in the area this one looked the nicest from the outside. The entertainment each night was average, and only lasted about an hour or less, and this is what they could improve on.

Location:
We found the location ideal for the purpose of our holiday- pool, sea, nightlife, town. The hotel is right on bar street which is where all the nightlife happens, and the rear of the hotel is practically on the beach. There are many shops nearby and a bus that takes you to Bodrum which is ideal for shopping and haggling.

Food and Drink:
The all inclusive aspect includes early breakfast, late breakfast, lunch, snacks, ice cream, dinner, and soup... not to mention unlimited drinks. The bar staff were very generous with the alcohol, but you were limited to only 3 different cocktails from the cocktail menu, unless you paid an extra 10 lira for different ones. There was a great selection of food each day, but there were 1 or 2 days where it wasn't so good.

All in all, this is a great hotel and we only paid £520 each. We thought this was great value for money compared to other hotels available. We would also recommend this hotel to others and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Room Tip: The side of the hotel with the reception is more suited to families because it is quieter.

This is the third time i have stayed at the parkim ayaz and i was a little dubioius after hearing it had gone all inclusive. Overall i'd say it has gone fairly well, the food has improved with a lot more choice (sunday roast, kebab nights, pizza at lunctime etc) but of course it does get a little bland! Big shout out to the Egg Man making us eggs any way you want em every morning! I found Ottomans to be average at best, since it was free you can't complain but i dont think it was a great representative of turkish cuisine.

Another downside is that Cozzy bar has completely lost it's soul, they've taken all the best reliable staff (ertan, ersan, oz, chico, shorty) and put them in the pay bar and dennys, instead it would make more sense for them to show the new staff how to act friendly and get tips! Would be best to have kept Cozzy as a pay bar for people who aren't staying at the hotel, that way staff could make tips and be more inclined to be helpful. Crap dj is still crap, literally like he's shoved on an out of date cd and walked off (which he did every time we were there!) Now most people tend to go to lady bird which is great but obviously offers no entertainment and the music was simply dreadful!
However the newer staff really warm to you after a few days, some of their english isn't great but they really made an effort to make you laugh! The all inclusive drink choice was pretty poor, vodka, gin, brandy, wine and beer but it's enough to get you sloshes before bar street as that really is expensive!

Both pools are great, lots of space, always clean, nice comfy padded sunbeds. Rooms were cleaned every day if you wanted, nothing stolen, clean towels, good working air con and lots of wardrobe and drawer space!

Great location, right next to the beach, near the nightlife should you choose to go out. Plenty of shops nearby and bodrum is only a short bus ride away. Use Peterpan for boat trips and excursions, we hired a private boat for 7 of us which was about £32 each, obviously cheaper with more people but you can choose what islands to visit and get a fab lunch.

Oh and if you love animals there's a few kitty cats on the grounds and on the beach you'll find some really friendly sweet dogs (they are checked for injuries and are not hostile at all!) so bring some doggie treats with you!

I think Parkim just has a few little mistakes to rectify in regards to going all inclusive but i had a fantastic holiday :)

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room as the nightlife can be heard clearly if you're near the front of the hotel...

My teenage daughter and i spent 2 weeks here the 1st 2 weeks of september. Having been to Gumbet before we new the area. The Parkim Ayaz was a great hotel. The moaners who have left poor reveiws need to remember how much they paid!! The All inclusive runs from 10am until midnight, 2 hours longer than the average All inclusive which usually runs for 12 hours. We found our twin room fine for what we needed, after all you only sleep, shower and change in here. Our room was cleaned everyday with clean towels daily. The pools were clean although we prefered to spend our days at the beach because there was more breeze. You are still able to take drinks to the beach as often as you pleased. The staff are excellent. They work very hard and long hours but are always friendly and willing to help and share a laugh. We had a lot of laughs in the restaurant, Mehmet cooks up a fabulous pizza (thanks Mehmet :) )
The only down side was the evening entertainment. There was only about 45 minutes of it and none on a sunday. If they could improve on this the hotel would be perfect.

All in all we had a great holiday and would definately return.

Room Tip: We were in room 1653. This room was great, just off the beaton track and close to the pool and resta...
