“Great stay!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 10, 2014 via mobile

Stopped in Bodrum for 2 nights and was very lucky have stayed here. The staff was incredibly helpful and made me feel right at home. It is easy to get from the hotel to all of the major attractions by minibus or taxi. It isnt even a far walk, but the hill is steep enough to not want to climb it more than a time or two. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

We stayed here in September. The staff (a family) was very helpful and friendly and even helped us with a problem when we were out of the hotel. The views are great. You can take a taxi boat from the hotel to the city center passing by the bay, a nice experience that adds to the trip. Also, its location, not in the city center, allowed us to rest very comfortably, far from the noise of the city. We were two couples and had an unforgettable time there.

This hotel is ok. The breakfast was good but the rooms could be renewed and cleaner though they have a great view. The main problem is the distance from the city center. If you are without a car or want to go to the city center at night (where is very hard to find a parking place) you will depend on your foot to climb the long hills or go with a taxi or mini bus that don't exclude some climbing. This can be an obstacle to enjoy the nice night of Bodrum.

Room Tip: ask for a room with view to the sea.

The hotel is located within minutes of the sea. It is a pleasant walk into Bodrum or you can access the water taxi for a quick trip across the harbour. A group of three run this hotel and the wife was very congenial and provided information on what sites to visit in the area. The views of Bodrum harbour are stunning and it is close to the lookout of Bodrum with the windmills. While the hotel is very clean it is a little dated and the bed was a bit too firm for our needs. This establishment is focused on cost control at the expense of service and comfort. We decided to have dinner at the hotel as we were tired after travelling all day and this was very good. There is parking on site.

Room Tip: We had Room 1744 which had obstructed sea views

We stayed at the Dolce Hotel in Bodrum during September / October 2013. Although we've visited Bodrum many times over the last 27 years, this is by far the nicest hotel we've stayed in ... including some of the resort's 4 and 5 star hotels.

Its position is not really suitable for those with mobility problems as it is accessed by a rather steep drive. However, travel by taxi (there is a call button by the entrance) and it really is no problem. There is a lift in the hotel connecting the floors.

The whole hotel is kept spotless and each of its 30+ rooms has a balcony with terrific views over the bay. My only very minor quibble with the room facilities is that the TV didn't have any English language programs (BBC or CNN news) .... it did not distract from enjoying the holiday and we really didn't miss it.

Breakfast consisted of full buffet-style offerings, including hot choices, and was beautifully prepared and presented. Lunch and dinner are offered on an a la carte basis, with quality and service being equally good.

Excellent, clean pool with beds and mattresses available together with a pool bar.

A small, family-run hotel where nothing is too much trouble.

I would have no problem in recommending this hotel and will definitely be staying there again.

Taxi from hotel to Bodrum centre is C.20TL (£6.20) and ferry 6TL (£2.00). Dolmus (stops on main road) but only suitable for Bodrum to Bardakci route costs 3TL (£1.00)

Tip ... go by boat ferry into Bodrum (short down-hill walk to ferry) and return via dolmus.
Late-night revelers take the taxi ...

This hotel is set on a hillside across the bay from the busy tourist area of Bodrum. You can walk all the way into town in about 20-30 minutes, or walk about 10 minutes. and take a little ferry across the bay. Either way, there is a fairly steep hill to climb up to the hotel. If you don't mind the climb, it's worth the effort. It is a beautiful property with views across the bay and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are not the most modern, but very clean and well maintained. It is a ten minute walk to the windmills at the top of the hill.
