My boyfriend and his cousin run this lovely kebab shop which is literally opposite Posh and literally around the corner from Temple Bar.

It’s has stunning views from their balcony seating area and also has outside seating so u can watch how busy bar street gets and enjoy all the vibrancy of Gumbet’s night life.

Reasonably priced, friendly staff so if you are ever on Bar Street please support Bodrum Doner and my boyfriend Metin.

Thank you :)

It used to be bar streets 20 years ago but not anymore, It's about 1 km street but at the moment you can only see 5-6 bars, not more because all bars turned to be Tshirts, Souvenir and such shops but not bars... just a few bars left and all looks same, same concept, same style and same ridiculous pricess... therefor all tourists stays their hotel and enjoy hotel bar/disco... 20 years ago it would take 2 hours to walk whole street but in these days it only takes 15 minutes... just waste of time

MOSS CLUB! Worst club in Bodrum! Staff are very rude and will try anything to take money out of your pockets. My first and last experience I kept getting harnessed by the waiter BARIS to buy a bottle of alcohol, me and two friends ordered three red bulls before we left we went to pay for the three energy drinks and BARIS tried charging us 300tl (80 pounds) for THREE redbulls, then after a massive argument he asked for 200tl then after a massive argument and he started to get very physical then he asked for 100 and we paid and left! Never Again!!!!

Good place. It is interesting, you can find a lot of Turkish delight, magnets and souvenirs in small shops. Better to have with you cash money, not everywhere they accept credit cards. Also, the night clubs around are hear able, they are among these shops.

Basically the place in Bodrum city center good enough for having fun. Unfortunately all bars are same concept wise. To be honest I didn't like the place. Just to visit the place ones is good for one evening time spending, but only one evening max.

Bodrum is my favorite beach city in Turkey, it's lovely, lively, fun and beautiful. First, you must visit castle and underwater archeology museum at the beginning of barlar street. Cumhuriyet street which is also called as barlar sokagi (street) is very fun because there are many shops, bars, dance clubs, restaurants, ice-cream parlors and of course famous Bodrum lokma dessert. There is also public beach adjacent to Cumhuriyet street which is not bad. While in Bodrum, at the end of Barlar street, you must take a boat tour which goes from island to island and you swim all day at virgin beaches. Make sure you ask for long tour which is like 8 hours. Tour price was between 35-50 depending on food and distance they offer in 2016. You must also go to Bitez and try wind-surfing. Halikarnas club is also on Barlar street and the biggest club and landmark of Bodrum if you like clubbing (opens after 11pm). If you like Salsa dancing and there is a club offers it several days a week at the beach on barlar street. Having dinner on the beach at one of be restaurants is fun. You also must try Doner-veggie kebab, delicious.

This is the hotspot of nightlife in Bodrum. Before 11 pm it's nearly empty but in minutes, people fill this place and the music gets a little bit louder. Best way to have fun is to make friends as you get drunk and dance. Don't forget to have a little bargain about the prices before you order anything.

Beware, the Barlar Sokagi is for the young, hip nocturnal nightime revellers and does not come alive until after midnight. It's a street with loads of bars jam packed with good looking youngsters bopping to the latest rave music. But for all young holidaymakers who have slept all day on the beach, make an effort to go here and you will be sure to make this your regular nightime haunt.
