We paid yet another visit to the Su and all is still good. The welcome, The comfortable clean room, The nice pool, The bar, The restaurant. Bodrum town center 5 minutes away from this haven. Bus station to explore the rest of the peninsula nearby. Well done. We dream of our return

Room tip: Meet the guests for a pre dinner drink

This is a wonderful hotel, located away from the noise of the waterfront but only 10 minutes walk to get there. All the rooms surround a central courtyard with a nice pool. Staff were friendly, attention to small details was obvious, bed and pillow very comfortable. There are few cultural things to see in Bodrum but the shopping and people-watching along the waterfront is fun and the Crusader castle is well worth the visit. Parking is a block away on a side street. While there we also recommend you visit Kocadon Restaurant near the marina.

We liked the Su (water) Hotel. It was bright, quiet and an easy, 10 minute walk to the marina and restaurants. No TV in the rooms, but they have free wifi and a pool. The hotel is owned by Mr. R. Zafer Kustu, who created the interesting collages in the rooms and hallways.

We had an Asian dinner in Bodrum, at the Hong Kong restaurant on the marina. While a bit expensive, the dishes were well-prepared and very tasty. The chef is from Xian, China (home of the terra cotta warriors).

This is a small hotel a little way away from the waterfront of Bodrum but within easy walking distance. This is just where you want to be as there is a really noisy disco on the waterfront that operates from about 11 pm to 3am with no restriction on the noise level. This, fortunately cannot be heard from the Su Hotel.

The hotel looks like a large Mediterranean villa rather than a hotel as it is double storey curving around a sparkling pool. The rooms are simply furnished but nice and all of them have balconies or patios.

The management staff and owner were friendly and helpful. We didn't have dinner there but the Rocket Salad I had for lunch was superb.

I would certainly go back there.
