8 of us booked into the Moonshine, for 2 nights before boarding a Gulet charter and also for 1 night on our return.....
We arrived after midnight, a little weary and hungry.
We received a warm welcome and were shown to our rooms and thereafter, the bar.
Where on asking for a few bowls of chips to cease the hunger pangs, were presented with chips, omeletes, Turkish meatballs, bread and more.......
The bar/waiting staff were polite, courteous and bent over backwards to accommodate our every need!
A great start to our holiday......
The pool area was clean and pretty, surrounded by flowers and trees and protected on 4 sides by the hotel itself.
The rooms/apartments were a little tired but spacious and more than adequate for our short stay.
We had a quaint little balcony overlooking the pool.
Overall, the service, food and apartments were great and very good value for money.

On our return for our last day, there were a few minor blips (not worth mentioning) as we put it down to differences in language, culture and understanding and all agreed that we would certainly recommend and use the Moonshine Aparthotel again.....

The Moonshine apartments are set in attractive grounds with the pool and restaurant on your doorstep. They are a short walk from Bodrum harbour by attractive back streets (avoiding the busy main road) and there are local shops selling everything close by.
Our spacious apartment was cleaned every day and fresh towels provided by a lovely smiling lady. The beds were comfortable and when we wanted extra equipment, for our kitchenette, we only had to ask.
The breakfast provided was Mediterranean - meat, cheese, melon, olives, tomatoes etc etc, decent tea and coffee and you could eat as much as you wanted and linger as long as you liked by the pool. We ate in the on-site restaurant twice in the evenings - the food was wonderfully presented and beautifully cooked though we were surprised to find this to be an expensive option compared to the local restaurants.
If you can tear yourself away from the tranquil and homely atmosphere and you want to go further afield, the bus station is not far away and you can catch a dolmus to pretty well anywhere on the Bodrum peninsula. For bigger trips such as Ephesus there are plenty of companies in town offering coach trips.
The Moonshine turned out to be an excellent choice for our holiday. Overwhelmingly this was down to the lovely staff at the hotel who could not do enough for us, this includes those on the desk, the chef and, in particular, the waiter Cihan.
The apartments are medium priced but the service and ambience were well beyond expectation

Room Tip: Rooms on the first floor and spacious and light. Make sure you keep all doors and windows closed to...

I stayed here for 3 days, the rooms were immaculate and the service was great. The guy on the front desk even carried my bag for me to the harbour to where my Contiki trip began and refused to take a tip. I am without a doubt staying here again next time I come to bodrum. My parents have also booked their stay here when they come in a few weeks time.

We spent 3 nights with a one year old and a five year old. We really enjoyed our stay. The apart is very nice, clean and well equipped. We had a baby cot.

The pool is great, breakfast is excellent, very nice staff. Nothing to complaint about this place.
Just a tip: rental car can be hired for cheaper elsewhere, but that's not about the hotel.

I just don't see what all the fuss is about. You get what you pay for. This was a really nice, clean and friendly hotel to stay in and me and my family thoroughly enjoyed every second of this holiday, We arrived fairly early around 05:00am and by then we were all so tired and went to sleep and were awoken by a cockerel but what harm is that? its all part of the experience!! The staff couldn't do enough for you! always there to help you, always chatting and always having a laugh with you! the pool was a great size and always kept clean and the pool area was always tidy, there was enough sun loungers for everyone staying in the hotel so there was no waking up early reserving them, added bonus! The rooms were really nice! bathroom was nice and clean always, clean towels everyday and clean bedding every 3 days, bins emptied everyday. i can highly reccomend 'the garden' bar and restaurant, eating your dinner overlooking the sea is just amazing! Food was great and service was to! not to high on prices, well worth it. Bodrum Dedeman Aquapark was really good fun it was 50 lira entry but it was an amazing day there wasnt a long wait to get onto things and you had to put money on a card and they would swipe it in the card if you wanted food or drink, witch was handy. the beach was really nice, every shop on the beach front you went in at the back you could see the beach witch was really nice and we went to burger king one day it was like eating it on a floating balcony it was so fun, we've been to turkey a lot of times and this was a brilliant holiday, 45 mins to 1 hour for the transfer from bodrum milas airport to the hotel. if i had to some this hotel/holiday up in one word it would be 'amazing' i WILL be returning

Room Tip: All rooms have good views

Really lovely stay. Rooms could do with a bit of TLC but this wasn't too much of an issue as we were on a sight seeing visit so spent little time inside. What this place lacks in 'mod-cons' is certainly made up for by the friendly, helpful staff and the lovely pool and restaurant area. Location appears to be out on a limb at first but is no more than 15 mins walk to Bodrum Castle, 10 mins to some great seafood restaurants, and 5 mins to the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus.
