Kind of small and too self expanitory. Nice to get out of the chill or heat. Lots of objects to get in touch with the past. Feeling of limited funding.

I must admit this was just to get out the pooring rain and it was all very boring on the inside a lot of pots and jars from the boats over the years,if I went again I would visit the ship that they have in another part of the castle grounds its just a small section but I found that more interesting overall

I really recommend that you visit the museum on a cool weather day! The heat is unbearable and there is nothing much to see

It is closed for restorations it’s not mentioned till when. If you ask even locals don’t know. I don’t know how come some people write reviews that they have visited it.

Unfortunately we couldn’t visit inside but the castle is an amazing landmark that dominates all around and shows the history of this place

Don't miss when in Bodrum to visit the castle and his wonderful Museum; a lot of underwater founds, as archaeology founds, vases, jugs, nice presentation in the castle; very interesting Museum.

Made a stopover in Bodrum and paid a ridiculous amount of money to stop in the marina, specifically to see the Museum of Underwater Arch & Castle etc, checked the website for opening hours etc but when we arrived we find the museum and castle has been closed since May this year. The local Tourist Info center confirmed it will be closed for 2 years for a reno. Great but what about the halfwits stating on the Museum website that it is closed. Worse still there are websites still selling guided tours. We will not return to Bodrum or recommend it to other travelers.
