This museum is in a great building and an amazing location. It was worth the entry fee just for the views. You need time to do this justice. We visited a bit late in the day and ran out of time. There is a lot to see and much to take in. It is also great exercise after a day on a plane - plenty of walking with many stairs. We visited on Attaturk Day so the museum was quiet because everyone was down on the waterfront enjoying the festivities. Even if you are not into archeology the history of the building makes a visit worthwhile.
