The food and service were good but when it came to paying they added a service charge but stated service wasn't included. When we questioned the bill they said the extra cost was tax. No other restaurant we have been to in Turkey has done this so watch out.

Went for an iced coffee thinking it was better to 'buy local' than have the Starbucks that was next door. The coffee was poor, the price was twice that of Starbucks and they charged a service fee. When questioned about the price the boss didn't want to know about it. Wish I'd read the trip advisor reviews before going here. As an aside, I saw the 'fresh' fish they were offering to cook - the sunken, dull eyes told me the fish was not freshly caught and was probably a couple of days old.

With the ancient castle Underwater museum, lovely cove and Bodrum hills in close view, we loved having an early dinner here with our table right beside the water. Service was great, and we had delicious and affordable grilled chicken dinner, with Efes Turkish beer (larger size worked for this couple, inexpensive). If it's windy on the main harbor, this restaurant benefits with a lot less wind. A great choice after visiting the Castle, fun to see places we visited up there.

Smallish hole-in-the-wall waterfront restaurant located in the shopping district. It opens onto a lovely patio right on the waterfront; you can sit a metre from the sea if you wish. Definitely under the heading of ‘casual dining’, but don’t let that dissuade you. While it caters to tourists, the clue is that the locals go there, too.

Pro: Excellent, very fresh food (the cook brought out to show the couple at the next table the fish he was going to prepare for them). Friendly staff willing to give good advice on selections. Amazing view from the patio - right beside the castle, perfect view of sailing boats anchored and coming into harbour. Reasonable prices, large portions. The ‘fish shish’ was great! She had the local ice cream for dessert - very good indeed.

Con: Smoking permitted.

We were there just for a dessert. They have really nice "looking" desserts in their menu, each for 15 Lira. However, what the waiter brought was a horrible instant dessert. I would not even buy something like this in a supermarket. Apparently, they don't have any homemade desserts. Very disappointing. Never ever again!!
