“Hotel for party people”
Reviewed April 13, 2013

I stayed in the hotel for two nights in APRIL. The Halicarnas club next to it was NOT even open. Yet the 01:00-05:00 live music program of some bars/pubs next to the hotel, rendered it impossible for me to sleep without earplugs. If you are there to party, its a marvelous setting. But dont count on sleeping much. Property and service was overall satisfactory.

Room Tip: maybe choosing NOT seaview rooms will help with the noise problem (we were told)

Hello everyone,
i went in this amazing place last summer and i just can say that it has been my favorite vacation.
The Gulet Hotel has a perfect location because is in front of the best night club Halikarnas, it's at the beginning of the most popular street with all the comfort; beach, nightclubs, shops, bar and restaurants. Moreover it's in front of the port then it' s very easy go there for boat trip or to take catamaran to Kos and Rodes.
Anyway i will always suggest this hotel because the owner Mustafa and all the staff Arzu, Cengiz and the guys are amazing. They will help you for everything and to offer your the best vacation.
The hotel is so clean, the rooms are quiet in the night even if there is nightclub so close to it and breakfast is continental.
You can have a breakfast while you gaze at the caste.
Then go there and have a good vacation.

Visited this hotel in September 2012... A great location and a very friendly and nice staff!!
Just 2 minutes away from the beach... The room and bathroom were fine and clean... Mustafa, the manager, was very helpful and made us feel very welcome!!
100% recommend the hotel and would certainly stay here whenever I'm in Bodrum :)

The location is v.good. Next to the beach, right on the restaurant strip, and adjacent to the Halikarnas. The hotel is totally renovated, the rooms are well desinged and spacious( at least the one i booked #302) The staff is really nice and helpful.

I had booked a room with sea view but ended up with "something else": A room where the view was a wall half a meeter from the window. Quite claustrophobic! The room was OK but nothing more, and for 70 euro per night definitely not worth it. On my second visit to Bodrum I stayed in Maya Hotel which was cheaper and better " on all parameters", the only exception is that Gulet is just by the beach which is nice of course. I gues the best part of the hotel is the staff/family that runs it, nothing to complain about them.

My first time in Bodrum and wasn't sure what to expect, booked to stay 3 nights as had planned to move around, had a lovely welcome on arrival, bags brought from car for us which was parked quite a distance away on a hill, room very clean and tidy and the bathroom well never seen a shower like it! perfect! Breakfast was plenty and a good variety with endless coffee and Turkish tea. After are 3 nights we decided to book to come back for the end of our holiday 9 days later... we arrived back tired to be greeted by Mustfa (apologies if incorrect spelling) "Welcome home" how lovely that was, he offered us drinks (on the house) and we chatted a while before returning to same room we had left (with the perfect shower!) fully air conditioned and free wifi. while we were there work was going on at the new nightclub opposite and we had reservations that our final stay would be difficult due to noise from nightclub but happy to say not once were we disturbed by noise or party clubbers at night nor did we hear any other guest complain of noise. We were within two mins walking distance from beach and two mins walking distance of all bars , shops and restaurants. overall a very happy and memorable holiday at the Gulet and will most definitely return soon .

We stayed 10 days at Otel Gulet in Bodrum.
The staff is very friendly and very helpful.
We booked a 2 bed room which was small but clean and totally enough to spend the night. The bathroom is clean and has a great design. We could see other room with more space though.
The complete hotel as been renovated in 2011 according to the owner whom we could talk to.
The breakfast is simple and is served on the terrace where you have a wonderful view over Bodrum's Castle. To make a long story short, I would doubtlessly book this hotel again and will recommand it to anyone who wants to go to Bodrum.
