Good value for staying in the heart of city. Sleeping was comfortable...Cheap, clean, full quality breakfast...room was ok for 1 or 2 person..No luxurious but efficient hotel. I recommend it..Bus stop 100m, metro station 400m away from hotel.

Good: Big rooms, big comfortable beds, everything clean and welcoming.

Bad: The location is great for visiting the castle, the museum of Anatolian civilizations, and the big amusement park nearby, but it gets a little creepy at night. Not unsafe though.

Typical breakfast (white bread, honey, local cheese, tomatoes, olives and some type of meat), clean rooms, friendly staff. The location is convenient if you want to walk to the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations and then to the old city.

Compared to the prices I saw at other hotels (and the rooms at one of the more pricey hotel), this is very good value if all you need is a place to crash in the evening after sightseeing.

They also seem to take security seriously. The first time I returned after a full day away from the hotel, they asked to see some type of photo ID. After that, they did not ask for ID again.

Room Tip: I think I saw some posts about rooms not having windows. I asked for a room with a window when I mad...

Friendly staff, adequate breakfast, a good price for a budget hotel. On the other hand the area is not very nice and the rooms are a bit smelly and creepy. It's an ok plan B, but do consider another plan A.

Our room was comfortable and fairly spacious, and our A/C worked. It is fairly easy to walk from the hotel to the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, though it is up a hill. The wifi did not work in our room, and the breakfast was ordinary. Very few people at the hotel speak English.

This is a very basic hotel with very small rooms and an extremely tiny bathroom that has you taking a shower over the toliet. It did have good air conditioning which was a plus but the wi-fi was down for a week and no one at the hotel spoke English. The breakfast was a very basic Turkish meal of cold tomatoes, olives, cheese in packets and bread with no variety or choice. Also charged for all water. One night here was enough.

If you want an easily located logde that will grant you a good night's sleep, Mithat can be relied upon. The room had very comfortable beds, a decent AC, and a nice view of the city. The hotel was also impressively visible when arriving from the otogar - we saw the sign on the roof several hundred meters away. The location is also convenient, most of the attractions of Ankara are within walking distance (at least if you, like us, fancy walking).

However, the bathroom was ridiculously small - it was physically impossible to use the shower without flooding the toilet and most of the rest of the room. The wifi connection was not at all impressive, we had to stay in the hallway to gain a stable connection. This problem was not limited to our particular room, as we repeatedly met other guests in the hallway fiddling with their smart phones... It must also be noted that the hotel is somewhat sloppy with the cleaning, we for instance discovered a previous guests' lingerie still on the floor...

In conclusion, this is a decent accomodation (excellent sleep quality) for a quick stop in Ankara (I'd say most visits to Ankara probably will be short, it's not that much to see or do...), but you'll probably grow tired of the bathroom and wifi after a few days.

Room Tip: Ask for one with a bathroom larger than the average cupboard.
