“Has an antique bicycle room”
Reviewed February 15, 2013

We are big bicycle fans and the antique bicycle room was the highlight of our visit. The restaurant in the museum is also excellent and since we were staying in the Divan Hotel next door, we ate there several times.

“worth to visit”

Nice place for families and children to see antiques and machines. It takes at least 3 hours to see everything inside.

“A small wonderland for fathers and sons.”
Reviewed December 14, 2012

A small gem of a museum in the heart of Ankara, little brother of Istanbul's awesome Koc Museum. Housed in a perfectly restored antique caravan seray, with an atrium brasserie (where beer is still served...) and exemplary public washrooms, it will delight technically-minded boys and girls, not to mention fathers. The place is a paradigm of good taste and skillfully fabricated working models or restored mechanical antiques. My boys kept taking me back many times while posted in Ankara and the amiable managers where our perfect English-speaking hosts. Highly recommended for fathers with children, while mums and grandparents are visiting the academically impressive Archeaological Museum next door.

“Lively and diverse”
Reviewed November 15, 2012

This is an up-to-date and interactive museum showing all kinds of objects gathered by a smart collector--toys to steam engines, but all with a Turkish twist. Located in a fabulous old caravanserai adjoining the one housing the Divan Cukuran Hotel.
