A good business hotel (if your business is nearby). Open air restaurant available at rear. Taxi can be arranged with little delay. The bonus is the fast wifi available (better than most comparable hotels)

I really like the overall design of the Niza Park. It has a nice scale to it with a pleasing outdoor cafe off the pleasingly modern lobby and bar. It's immaculate and the rooms are nice. My one and only criticism is that I had twin beds in my room which were too narrow and more suited to children.

Stay: Early May 2013 (two nights)
Bill: TL305.50 = $170 or $85 per night (no extras)

Reception desk and welcome: good.

Room: clean and comfortable, however the air conditioning was not working and during the day I was working they didn't fix it. It would be unbearably hot in the summer.

Bed: bed fine but I don't really like foam pillows, and the duvet was very heavy, leaving no option for lighter covering for very hot nights - and it was very hot.

Food: breakfast fine (very nice bread) but if you like good coffee, ask for Turkish coffee, otherwise you will get a disgusting instant coffee that appears to have got a stranglehold in the market all over the country. (In my previous visit to Turkey, at two hotels, I had to pay extra to have decent, Turkish coffee for breakfast - no charge at Niza Park).

Internet: another hotel with an excellent signal throughout the hotel included in room price; should be standard practice by now – so really excellent on this point.

Summary: at $85 a night I'd say this was good value; I would return.

Overall quality: acceptable to good.
Friendliness: acceptable to good.
Internet: perfect.
Value for money: excellent.

I have many memories in this hotel although I just stayed for 2 weeks for a business course. So when I recall it makes me smile. Nice, modern and comfortable decoration, friendly staff very central location. Definitely recommend. Price is also reasonable for what you get.

This is a well situated hotel offering good value for money with modern rooms, good food and good service. The only thing it lacks is a swimming pool. It is a short walk to the city centre with plenty of restaurants and minimarkets locally as well as a good carpet shop.

Room Tip: If you don't like traffic the back is quieter although it is well insulated anyway.

This is a quiet, small hotel with a convenient location. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The highlight of the hotel is its staff. They are very friendly and do their best to help their guests. We had to leave the hotel very early in the morning to go to the Canadian Consulate and when we came back open buffet breakfast had already finished an hour ago, but all we had to do was to ask. They served us a great breakfast and we were not charged for it.

The hotel has underground parking but the way that goes down to the car park is the narrowest I have ever seen so we were quite stressed when we tried to park the car ourselves. Fortunately, the staff offered to bring our car to the front gate when we checked out so we didn't have to go through the same stress again.

This is my kind of hotel - everything I do need (well, almost everything) and nothing I don't. Actually, a bit better gym would be helpful. But the weather was great and walking around the neighbourhoods was fun. The staff are unfailingly helpufl whether or not (often not) they spoke English. The breakfast buffet was very good and the a la carte lunch and dinner were not overpriced and were very tasty. Good free wifi in the rooms and lobby. All in all a good place to stay, not too far out of the centre of town.
