So, you find yourself in a modern, over staffed, bustling hotel in a busy area of Ankara. You can hear piped music in the background, there is the gentle bustle of people going about their business and the lobby is full of folks in suits shaking hands. You could be anywhere in the world.
I had Room 422. Its got verything in it (mini-bar, aircon, facilities etc) but frankly, the enormous armchair, foot rest and layout of the glass table made it very cramped. the twin beds are laden with pillows and it all appears a bit cramped. Then fill it with all the guff and stuff that hotels do (booklets, cards, reminders, etc) and you get the feeling you make the place untidy !

Totally and utterly devoid of any character.... but come on... are you really surprised ? It's a Crowne Plaza. You wouldn't necessarily pick this place for a quiet getaway !
Nice Bar on upper floor
I would however remark that the breakfast (excellent choice) was overstaffed with people "hovering" around looking for something to do... On one occasion, i came back to my table to find the waiter clearing away my plate, water and magazine ! Poor sense of timing
