We have been to numerous Gerry's Grill branches, it is like Jollibee in the Philippines but for Filipino cuisine. The classic 'inihaws' and 'sinigang'.

A place where you can feel the warmth of Filipino cuisine and efficient staff.

The help could use some training , prices are very good inside Roberson place , 3rd floor, both inside and out side seating.

We spent New Year's Eve at Gerry's Grill overlooking Manila bay and had great food and awesome fireworks.

The was a charge of P800 (circa $20) per head, payable in advance, but ALL consumable. We ended paying a little extra, but had a great deal of food and a lot of beer!!

Unfortunately, whilst we had booked to sit on the balcony, Mother Nature wasn't playing ball, so we sat under the awning instead.

It was a great night and a special thanks must go to Mika for being the best server in the whole of the Philippines.

Disclaimer: We had this dining experience in their SM Megamall Branch. I couldn't find any marker for that location so I chose Gerry's Grill Manila.

Ambience

Welcoming. Cheery interiors (it is the holiday season, after all), upbeat music, clean surroundings.

Staff

Very accommodating, fast, and efficient. Our server, Niel, was really going the extra mile in making sure our needs were satisfied. He was quick in taking our orders and delivering them.

Food

We ordered the Sizzling Bangus Ala Pobre, Sizzling Sisig and Mais Con Hielo for dessert. The fish was great, cooked just the way we like it. You can taste the freshness in every bite.

The Sizzling Sisig was another story. It was disappointing. It lacked flavor (thank God for Knorr Seasoning), it was not crunchy, and the meat was not that tender.

The hubby found the Mais Con Hielo a bit on the creamy side. He enjoyed it, though.

It was a great experience, and we're sure to be back again soon.
