We were onlly able to look at the university from outside the gates because they require that you wear pants inside the grounds, which we were not.

So please if you plan to go here make sure you wear pants and don't make the same mistake we did.

“Time to relax”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 1, 2013 via mobile

Went here with friends for an evening jog and it's very refreshing. It's peaceful and serene. The oval is usually closed during weekends. It is also safe because there are guards roaming regularly.

“Let's Jog!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 18, 2013

The University of the Philippines' Diliman campus is definitely the place to jog or run (or even bike) on a weekend. It has declared off-limits to motor vehicles a big portion of its main circumferential road and dedicated this portion to walkers, joggers, runners, bikers, etc. Small wonder then that people of all ages, types, gender and nationalities can be seen there on any Saturday or Sunday morning. There are lots of full-grown trees all around the campus, making it even more conducive and attractive for exercising. After your run, you can proceed to the University Shopping Center for a cheap and filling breakfast.

“Efficient Shopping Complex”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 10, 2013

I love the greenery inside UP and its closeness to the students. The place doesn't just portray beauty but also the beauty is touchable, usable. Some buildings wear off already and not properly taken care of, seemingly abandoned, which is a pity. Authenticity can still be felt in this campus.

I love its so-called shopping complex that has cheap photocopy, money changer, Western Union, shoe repair etc. You can't find everything here of course, it's not like the typical shopping complex, but it's quite efficient for students.

UP is not a hi-fi campus but you can feel life & creativity working in some of its main parts. But yes, it would've been better if all corners are taken care of well.
