“Fantastic Service!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 26, 2011

I spent three nights in this hotel for business. The staff are wonderful and remember you by name and for the price it's a pretty good deal I thought. My only gripe is that they charged me an extra 500PHP for one night on the bill that I didn't notice until I got home but I clearly didn't check the bill thoroughly enough. The pool is small and I didn't bother, the gym is a small Gold's Gym but it has treadmills and bikes and free weights. The spa was great and for the price (considering it is a hotel spa) I thought it was excellent. The rooms were spacious and I loved the Executive Lounge, although the TVs do need upgrading to flat screens. The hotel was near my meetings but not a great spot if you want to be near the airport.

I stayed for one night which was a very short stay but still good.

This is the first hotel that I've been that included dried squid and dried fish in their breakfast menu and that is not a minus point.

Their pool is small and is shared with the guests of Holiday Inn. That their pool is small is a minus point especially because it is shared by two international hotel chains.

My significant other and I stayed at this hotel to celebrate a special occasion. I have to say, I am impressed by the service provided by the hotel. Kudos to the management and staff - they were very courteous, helpful and friendly. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. I just have a minor quibble - the TV sets could use some updating, but to be honest, this is already nitpicking and it didn't really bother us that much. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

Dear Angel,

Thank you very much for your comments and commendations. Nice to hear you enjoyed your stay and that we could make this special occasion for you memorable. Regarding the TV’s please be informed that we are already working on that project. All the best and we are looking forward welcoming you back.

I spent a week at this lovely hotel recently. It was mostly a pleasure trip - time to visit with family residing in Manila. I was greeted nicely by the Front Desk Team. It was very late around 1am was check-in for me as connecting flight in Seoul was delayed for an hour. My reservation was for the following day. The Front Desk agent gladly adjusted my reservation to one night earlier. I got an opportunity to dine at their 2 restaurants on a few occassions. Both restaurants, Seven Corners and Xin Tian Di had beautiful decor and the staff were very friendly. Food was excellent for both restaurants, yet reasonably priced. It amazes me that level of service here and the ambiance of the reception desk, lounge, the 2 restaurants are comparable to a 5 star hotel here in the U.S. In my entire week stay here, the Front Desk Team (from the agents to the Duty Manager) greeted me by my name - they showed interest and engaged the guests. The housekeeper and Turn Down Service person were very friendly, yet professional. They were very accommodating. I had a request for an extra towel, then extra water bottle and they promptly provided this. I had to make changes with some of my existing weekend reservations and the Front Desk Team handled the changes very well. It was seamless, everything very smooth and the bills were correct at check-out. The best thing too about this hotel, is it is connected to a very nice mall and supermarket. If you are looking for value meal and shopping, you are in the perfect place. There are 3 Starbucks that I found. One in the mall itself, the other just outside the mall, approximately 1/2 block from entrance of Hotel and the 3rd one in the MetroWalk area, about 2 blocks from Hotel. The Starbucks in the Veranda (around the corner from hotel) opens at 7am daily except on weekends while the one inside the mall opens at 10:00 am when the mall is open. I highly recommend this hotel and I look forward to staying at this hotel on my next visit to Manila.

Room Tip: Rooms are nice and spacious. I did not mind being on the street side and facing the expensive Corint...

we stayed in an executive suite on the 6th floor. what a huge room and bathroom! super comfortable bed, marble raised tub, powerful shower, two tvs. the room smelled good too, very clean. amazing value for its price. appreciated the pants press and the general layout of the room. the room was a wonderful surprise and made for a relaxing stay. upgrading the crt tvs to the now-standard leds would have made the room perfect.

This hotel and its older, slightly more budget-conscious Holiday Inn sister, sit on top of a major shopping mall (Robinsons Galleria) in one of the financial districts of Manila (Ortigas area). It's a popular place for conventions and other large events, with one of the largest halls in the area. It's ideally located for business.

The rooms are clean and spacious, with a large work table and free Internet for those catching up with work. In case you forgot to pack along something, the mall below has stores for office supplies, books, gadgets and computers, clothes, and most everything that one might need for work.

In the deluxe rooms, the good-sized bathroom has a separate tub aside from a shower stall, with a good set of toiletries. The beds are large (2 queens or a king) and comfortable, although the firm pillows were perfect for some but uncomfortable for others. Sleep, for those not used to the urban environment, may be disturbed by muted street noise and honking car horns, so try to get a room on an upper floor (which also gives good cityscape views).

The Seven Corners breakfast buffet offers a wide selection of Asian and Western fare to start off a full day of work, and the hotel restaurants have a reputation for good food. The mall also offers a wide array of dining options.

Note: The pool, spa, and some of the other facilities are shared with the Holiday Inn.

Overall this hotel is our favorite place to stay in this district.

Room Tip: Try to get a room on an upper floor for less road noise.

The hotel is hard to miss-You can see it from afar and its gold framed glass walls makes it stand out. Getting there is a different matter though. Heavy traffic during rush hours and a lot of one way roads. If you are not from around the area you can easily get lost. Better take a cab or a hired car with chauffer.

The lobby is small but clean. Checking in was a breeze so there was no overcrowding at the lobby. Their staff seemed trained to make sure people at the lobby are attended to quickly hence decongesting it as much as possible. Good strategy and works perfectly.

Elevator was quick. No overcrowding there either.

Rooms were spacious. We got one with 2 double beds. The toilet and bath was spacious too. But i did notice that their wall paper was peeling in areas at the hallways and rooms. The furnitures were also dated. The place needs a little remodelling but it is clean.

The hotel is connected to malls At the third or fourth floor. That was really convinient especially during the rainy season.

Checking out was also easy and fast. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Too bad it is hard to go to...
