Our family of 5 had dinner there on a Saturday. Upon entering, we could already hear the noisy chatter of the diners, and the annoying jingling sound of cutlery and plates. We noticed that tables were placed side by side, with little space in between. Hardly the nice ambiance the other reviews stated. We were led to the second floor. The area was a bit less crowded and confined, but very noisy. There was a group of around 10 diners laughing and chatting at the top of their voices. The low ceiling of the room didn't help. Actually, I think the place won't be comfortable for claustrophobics. The interiors had a homey feeling. And, I guess, the designers tried too hard on this. Its kind of over for such a small area. Bottom line is, the cramped area is a big minus for me.
Menu is the usual fare. Prices are on the high side, considering the quantity of serving. Quality, though, is good. Food was served fast. We enjoyed the food. We loved the Mediterranean Salad, Gambas, and the Callos. Service was quick. Waiter was a bit eager beaver, but still okay.
Despite the space and the noise, we are planning to go back for the food. Perhaps, for a weekday lunch or an early dinner, so that we wont have to go with the crowd.
