“Good value for money. Unlimited cabbage & Japanese rice.”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

I LOVE THIS PLACE. I like that they have what they call a Yabu ritual; you grind your own sesame seeds and mix it with their oil (dressing) to make your own katsu dressing. Its a little bit pricey but so worth every penny. The staff is very attentive to your needs. The atmosphere was great. The food serving was just right and it taste great!

“The Best Katsu in Manila!”
Reviewed January 13, 2013

This restaurant calls itself “The House of Katsu,” and it really deserves the title. Whether you go for their top-of-the-line Kurobuta pork set or their other available pork chop varieties, the meat is tender and properly cooked, never dry nor undercooked. The set meals come with Miso Soup, some pickled vegetables, a few slices of fruit, and unlimited shredded cabbage and rice. If you’re not looking for pork, they also have excellent minced meat, chicken and seafood katsu options, which range from salmon and prawns to soft shell crabs.

The service staff is polite and efficient. Their branch manager, Nhatz, is also very personable. The restaurant has a very simple yet clean design, and lines are really long, so come at off-hours or try to make a reservation. Also, if you end up waiting too long, they usually give you complimentary appetizers or ice cream at the end of the meal - a nice, personalized touch.

I’d highly recommend this restaurant! It’s worth the trip and the wait.
