“Ace Water Spa in Pasig review”
Reviewed May 25, 2013

Going there: Pasig, Kapitolyo, United St. area.
Parking is at 5th and 6th floors. Parking is for free, you would just need to validate at the concierge area.
They have a Ace hotel and Ace Water Spa interconnected in one building.

Attire: Swim wear or cycling shorts only. Board shorts not allowed.

Food and drinks: There is a buffet and ala carte in their resto. We tried their seafood tepanyaki and fish tofu rice meal. It was delicious. Serving was too big for me; can be shared. Approximately 250PHP- 300 PHP per rice meal. They have sandwiches, juices, fruit shakes and pastries too.
Note: Food and drinks are not allowed in the pool area.

What to expect:

Entrance: When you buy a ticket they provide you with a piece of paper that has a bar code, then you scan it as you enter. You go a few stairs and there's a separate locker and shower area for males and females. They give you the locker key and you surrender your foot wear and the piece of paper with bar code.

Note: They don't provide towels so you need to bring your own.
They provide swimming cap. Soap and shampoo, hair dryer and slippers are available also at the shower/ locker area.

Pools: 4 hot pools that ideally can fit 4-6 persons at once. Lap pool. Pools with different hydro therapy target area - there are soft to hard massage target areas such as shoulder, feet,
Sauna and Steam bath.
"Lazy River"- wherein you have a board like floater and let the water stream move you along.

Overall recommended, I was told by a friend to avoid weekends since it can get crowded. Went there on a weekday 6pm- 8pm.

“Good enough...”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

Experience was good. I especially loved the hot herbal bath pools. But it gets a little bit boring as time passed by. Hydrotherapy massages weren't 'that' relaxing. Also, there is too much chlorine in their pools. But overall, it was a good experience.

Also, try their Ace Cafe. They have palatable dishes.

“Great place for bonding with family and friends”
Reviewed February 24, 2013 via mobile

It was my 3rd time in Ace - the first was with friends, the last two with my son. It's a perfect alternative to malling. There are 20 different water massage systems, a lap pool, hot aromatherapy pools and sauna rooms. One can choose from soft, medium, and hard massage. There are notes by each massage area indicating the benefits and intensity of the massage. There are also guidelines on how to use the hot pools and sauna. The people running the place are evidently knowledgeable on the health benefits and risks. Swimming caps are provided.

The bath facilities are clean. Slippers and liqiid soap/shampoo are provided.

Special reminder: swimming attire only and one needs to bring own towel.

“a great waterspa experience”
Reviewed January 20, 2013

reasonable price for a great experience (around P550 = $14). A great place to relax. You can stay for up to 4 hours although 2-2.5 hours in the place would suffice. Good for both adults and kids.
