“feed a hungry apetite”
Reviewed July 23, 2012

Place is a basic shabu-shabu cook it yourself place. They also have japanese sushi and sashimi dishes. it's eat all you can with no left overs so be sure you go here hungry to compensate the high entrance fee. They also had a big array of deserts although my sister did'nt really like the cakes.

“A whole lot of mix”
Reviewed July 23, 2012

A wide array of food choices from Korean, Japanese and others but what i really like is the smokeless grill. The only downside is that it is always full so you have to come early to get seated.

“worse eat all you can in town”
Reviewed July 15, 2012

it took me one and a half hour of waiting just to be called, the queve is really long, the reason i've waited is because of the good reviews, i wonder if they were paid to give good rating but for whatever reason ,quality is no longer the same like 2 years ago. this is the first time i make a post of my review of yakimix, coz i really think their management should start paying a visit at their trinoma branch.

it has been a while and i miss the dining experience with yakimix, but yesterday was the worse dining experience i had in years, the price had increase to 660 on weekends, price increase isnt an issue , but the quality of food had changed particularly their maki taste like old rice, dry, like it came out from the microwave, tempura too thick batter what makes thing worse is that it is no longer crispy, cake is really ordinary like it came from your local bakery. at 8:30pm shimp , beef and most of the sought after food is no longer there and the refill is darn too slow that i ended giving up waiting for them to make the refil. with 660 pesos i could get a better dining experience with other eat-all-you-can offerings.

before anyone make a reservation, my advice is better check their food if everything is still there before you decide to pile yourself on the waiting list.

“A buffet of Korean, Japanese, Taiwanese cuisine.”
Reviewed June 25, 2012

W have actually eaten in 3 branches of Yakimix - Macapagal, Tomas Morato and Trinoma. OUr recent trip was to the branch inside Trinoma. We had to line up for dinner as early as 5PM and there was a long queue. Finally able to enter the restaurant at 7:30PM. Yakimix's menu has not changed much since our first visit. For appetizers, there is an assortment of sushi and sashimi. On the day we went, there was no tuna sashimi but the salmon sashimi was fresh and buttery. There were some Korean dishes - noodles, kimchi, barbecue. There were Taiwanese dishes, as well. The main attraction of Yakimix is its smokeless grill and there were fresh pork, beef, chicken, seafood (fish, shrimp, shellfish, squid), plain or marinated in some sauce, ready for grilling. There is a salad bar with fresh vegetables as well as prepared salads (potato, macaroni, fruit). The desert section had fresh fruit (about 3 kinds), an assortment of pastries, ice cream, and some native desserts. If you like these types of cuisine, you would certainly enjoy Yakimix. Service is quick and courteous. The restaurant is clean. It is a bit pricey (Pesos 700 for weekend dinner, excluding drink and taxes).

“Love the tastes of the food”
Reviewed June 18, 2012

Their buffet selection are okay, they have chinese, korean, japanese and a little of italian(pizza). I love the tastes. I love the ambiance. Although their rate went up , i think it's still reasonable, i just hope it won't go up again in the near future.
