Me and my husband went there for dinner and we place our order and when the food came it was one by one. I need to wait 15 for my main course after they serve my husbands food first. Then we decide to come back and give it a second try but this time things went really BAD!!! It was Mother's Day and not really busy at all. One waiter took our order and he didn't even introduce or tell us his name (oh they don't have name badge so you don't know who is who/ who to call), everytime I tell him the order I need to repeat cause he was busy looking around and wasn't paying attention to me and the music was really loud too that I have to talk a bit loud. Which really aggravate me. my 9 yrs old niece order a smoothie ripe mango, mango, chocnut banana, pineapple and none of them was available and she end up having a watermelon cause that's the only fruit they have. We ordered Davao gulf- really good, seafood Laing, beef sinigang, bangus sisig, fried chicken and fried rice (chicken and rice for my hubby) they bought the following after 25 mins. Davao gulf first then followed by the beef sinigang and Laing. Without any silver where and plates. So the waiter bought us silverware and didn't bring us plate but he said we can eat in the banana leaf from the Davao gulf itself. Imagine the Davao gulf meal served in a big kinda Bilao in square shape with a size of 30x30 and place in the center of the two table koine together! Hilarious idea of a server telling us to eat in the Bilao where the head person sitting and can't even reach it. Then we waited for like 20mins for my husbands food (fried chicken and fried rice) I called the waiter who took our order and told him some meals are still missing and he look at me and said "ano pa po?" It's like he was not the one who took my order. So I told him what was missing an he didn't come back to tell us what's happening so I waited like 5 mins and called different waiter and same none of them came back. Then called our waiter again and he said
coming. So finally it came after 20 mins of waiting when all of us was already in the middle of our dinner. After another 10 mins the bangus sisig that I already forget came! So the service was really horrible and it's like they don't know what's going on around them. When I
asked for the bill it came in just one minute. So we spent the Mother's Day in a wrong restaurant. I really love the food in Seafood Island restaurant but the people who's working there should be more professional, more knowledgeable and more active. They need more training about proper steps on how to serve a guests. First greet the guests tell them your name and always smile. Second take the order, suggest alternative, pre sell the increase the sales and repeat the order. Third ring and bring. Ring the order and bring the necessary condiments such as plates/ silverware/ dipping sauce and then serve the drinks. Fourth serve the meal and after 5 mins check back the table asked them how's the food or if they need something else. Last offer them dessert or coffee. Then present the check and bid a sincere farewell. None of this happened so I'm giving you an idea what you guys have to improve. Hope this help.
