“OK but the attached San Augustin Church and San Augustin Museum are better”

Father Blanco's Garden
Ranked #82 of 143 things to do in Manila
Attraction details
Reviewed March 27, 2009

This partly walled garden is at the rear of Intramuros' San Augustin Museum.

The P100 entrance fee to the museum includes the garden.

Father Manuel Blanco was a priest who specialised in using plants for medicinal purposes. There is a statue of him adjoining the garden.

The museum and church, both of which are excellent, are reviewed individually.

The garden is not outstanding but it is a part of this whole historic complex.
