“Dilapidated and underwhelming”
Review of Chinese Garden

Was very shocked at how crappy and poorly maintained this garden was. I first went here 3 years ago and it was one of the worst-maintained gardens I had ever seen. Nothing was there except weeds, dead plants, and a very underwhelming experience. I went back in February and it hadn't improved that much. I think it's a symptom of the overall sickness that is Manila. Don't waste your time or money on this garden, it's disappointing.

Last time we went here when I was in college. Its a nice place not that superb. We went here taking pictures and doing goofy kungfu poses. Anyway. Without my friends it wouldnt be fun. Entrance is cheap, i recommend seeing this site when you visit rizal park.

Went on a hot humid day, average place with lot of people around for shelter. Not so clean compare to other parks.

Was average , nice place to relax and tidy. Water was a bit dirty though. Entry fee for these features wasn't much 10php I think , but would have thought free. Its a park isn't it?

This park could be really nice with a little work and some ongoing maintenance. The park suffers from a lack of care. The park draws a lot of students, which provides a lot of wear and tear on the park. There is a lot of litter on the ground and in the water. The structures need to be repainted. If they were to just keep the litter cleaned out it would be a major improvement. But for 10 pesos, (about $0.12 US) it is incredibly cheap to visit. If you go when there are not many people at the park it has some nice shady areas to sit and read or relax.
