Stayed on the club level and had a huge, comfortable room. Check-in was nice and relaxing at the club level, and the nightly cocktails was nice. The view over the Bay was quite beautiful. Security was good...guard checks the car before allowing it to enter, and you pass through metal detectors before entering the hotel. Friendly staff all around. Definitely recommended if you're in the area.

What a great hotel.....Make sure you get bay view room it overlooks Manila Bay. The location is very good its just off Roxas Boulevard and 5 minute walk to Robinson's mall, Mall of Asia is also near but it gets rather crowded.
As for the hotel the exterior looks old but when you get inside you will notice the how things can be deceiving.Casino is also in the same complex so hotel security personnel are everywhere to be seen.
Restaurants and breakfast buffet are first class. The only gripe i guess would be the seedy area this great hotel is located.

I stayed here because it's a Hyatt. It was a mistake, sadly. The location is not good. OK, no real fault of the hotel. But, the service was erratic, poor, unprofessional...at best. The Hyatt itself needs major, major rehauling. Rooms were depressing. Dark and clanky air conditioning. I stayed at the Club Level and while the view was nice from the Club Lounge, that was about all it had going for it. I sadly packed my meetings into two days instead of three to get out early. Could not have left more quickly. It's a dump.

Room Tip: Choose another hotel.

Stayed in the Presidential suite for a few days while on business in Manila.
It's not cheap but I love this place especially because you can play Texas hold'em downstairs in the casino to help pay for the room:)
The service in this hotel is 1st class as you would expect. Located in the Ermita area it's about a 15 min cab ride to Makati
This suite is huge - there's a massive lounge room and an 8 person dining room that look over the harbour. All the mod cons with a Bose sound system, electric curtains and drapes, ipod/iphone dock, full size fridge, coffee maker etc. There's also a separate office, nice bedroom with another flat screen TV, a grand bathroom that includes a free standing bath also looking over the harbour as well as a private sauna.
The breakfast is great with everything you can think of included.
Highly Recommended

Room Tip: Choose the Presidential Suite if you want to splurge

I stayed at the Hyatt Hotel and Casino a second time.
I was impressed by the improvement I experienced.
I used my suite upgrade and had a beautiful suite with fantastic views and amenities.

The breakfast at the Grand Club was good, the new expresso machine was an excellent investment for Hyatt.

The location of the hotel is good. Most of the entertainment is in walking distance. I attended a conference, and it was 20 minutes away by inexpensive taxi ride to the new convention center in Manila.

Room Tip: I recommend the higher floors for a quiet room and excellent views.

From check in to check out felt like I was staying at a 3 star hotel. Yes it's does have decent rooms, pool, restaurant but the service was just too poor. From the ouside hotel looks grand but it's different story inside. When i got out of taxi nobody really didn't care to offer me a help. There were at least 4-5 staff by the door but they seem like busy talking to each other. I had to wait and finally one security guard offered me a help.I never had a problem like this at a 5Star hotel before( stayed over 20 different 5 star properties in bangkok and manila) Also at the check in i had to wait a bit even though 2 staff were free to help me. It was almost like they were trying to avoid eye contact with me.

During my stay. I notice theres way too many people at the lobby and at the pool. Lobby seems to packed with people day and night made me feel like i am at a night market at Patpong bangkok. You don't expect this at a five star property. And pool had little kids running around all the time. Saw a big family by the pool two days in a row, at least 10-15 people all together. I don't think they all staying at the hotel.

And here's the highlight-check out. Expecting fast check out since i was checking out at 6am.
Wrong answer,I couldn't believe my eyes at least 10 people in line with only 2 staff. Took me almost 30 minutes just to check out. I paid $170 a night without internet and breakfast, which is very expensive for manila. I totally got ripped off at this hotel. I really learned a lesson this time just to stick with Pan Pacific, which is much better property. Do me a favor, Don't get fooled by Hyatt brand and look for something else.

This hotel is like a tree in the middle of a desert. the location is rely bad from certain point of view as surround with old town , houses and shops, a bit scary if it is your first visit. However the hotel one you enter is like a big city, the reception, rooms and restaurant if like you went to a different place. the rooms are really nice, clean and the service is good. But the food was amazing they had a Thai week and the food tasted better than in Thailand. If you have time pass to the Casino, it s bit different from what you have seen in casinos.
