Well...I have tried Caffe Bene as my taste buds are getting tired of Starbucks.
But I do consider myself a connoisseur when it comes to coffee and I always make it a gastronomical adventure to discover new cafes which is mushrooming around the Metropolis.
Caffe Bene is a Korean brand. It is located inside the SMX convention center beside Mall of Asia. It is one of those cafes, you might consider if you are tired of the overcrowding Starbucks located inside the Mall of Asia (MOA).
If you want some peace and quiet or not too crowded...this is it.
Caffe Bene has pastries and gelato, but I really haven't tried it as I am only after the ice blended coffee.
I ordered the large white mocha which cost me P155 pesos (tax included).
The size if I am not mistaken is equivalent to the Grande version of Starbucks. The taste is not too sweet and maybe they have really come up with their own concoction as I did find it delicious...I savor it to the last drop!
The ambiance was so relaxing...it has a look that resembles a library. Dim lights, wooden furniture and bookshelves for decoration.
However, it seems no wi-fi found within this coffee shop, I tried connecting using the free wi-fi being offered by MOA instead but I get a weak signal or probably its just one of those days.
The only downside as I found out later was that Caffe Bene only opens when there is an event or activity inside the convention center.
