Rizal Park has many moods depending on the time of day. It's a casual meeting place for friends at times, whilst at others it's a children's playground. Whenever you go, take time to walk around and people watch. You'll be surprised by what you may see - but best to avoid too late at night.

This place is an excellent place to know about the people of Manila. You will get a glimpse about their lives here. I love the way they spend their time with family by sitting there & staying together. There is a nice water fountain which dance with the sound of the music. The people around there are walking & staying together. its a really nice to see colourful Manila people & their time in the park. A must visit place at night

Not much here. It does have two very sharp looking military men guarding the memorial to Jose Rizal, a Filipino hero. On my way from the Best Western to Intramuros it served as a resting spot.

I like parks, so when I was in the area I came here. It was big and empty, no trees. It felt like they were working on it, there were almost no people there.

No good spots for a picnic, no good spots to sit with a girl, just a desolate park in the middle of Ermita.

Huge park off of Roxas Blvd well worth the visit. Great picture opportunities and lots of Philippine history. The park also has the site of Jose Rizal's execution and a nice Chinese garden. Very safe area and well patrolled by security and police.
