Owner description: This replica of a mid-19th century house showcases the opulence of the former Filipino aristocracy.

Not much info about why the actual building is there and where the stuff came from, but it's still a nice recreation of a rich person's place. In the middle of Intramuros and with a pleasant cafe.

This is another MUST SEE in Intramuros especially if you like antiques. This house gives you a glimpse of what it was like to live RICH in Old Manila in those days. Did you know that they had side by side toilets so that they could converse and (...) at the same time?

Casa Manila is worth a visit when you are touring the Intramuros area. The entrance ticket is very reasonable and you can walk around the house and enjoy the antique furnishings and architecture. The house is small so you can see it in half an hour or so.

We stumbled on this museum/house as we were looking for lunch!
It is well set out and gives a lovely idea of how the wealthier people lived. The guard was helpful and informative when we approached with a question.......maybe they should be a little more pro-active.
