Palm plaza had the perfect location for my 4-day official business trip last October 15-19, 2013. The hotel staff attends to our needs immediately especially for room service. The only thing that irtitated me though was the non- observation of the non-smoking policy in the hotel. I think part of the responsibility of the hotel is the strict enforcement of the law. Smoke detectors should be installed as deterence. Other than that, I can say that thge place was worth the price. While my purpose was located in the Port Area, i also found it convenient to go to the nearest LRT Station when I went to Katipunan. Likewise, it was easy for me to meet my friends in the nearest mall just across the street. No wonder my friends can easily recommend the place, I think I also can now.

My first stay in Palm Plaza was on 2008... Since then, I used to stay at PALM PLAZA each time I come to Manila ( yearly ). I feel really relax and comfortable specially with the staff . They are very friendly and very easy to talk. The food was great and the service was very good. I can't complain anything really bad.
The location of this hotel is very conviniet to reach places I want to go.
The manager Miss Ghie Gomez has a very good relationship with all her staff likewise to the guest. She helped me each time I ask her for a little help.
Thank you so much mam for all your help!!!

I am looking forward to stay once again in this hotel next time I come in visit Philippines!!!!!!

This hotel is highly recommended because of its customer service oriented. I could say that there location is way better from other hotels, since it is near Robinson's mall.....The front desk are very easy to talk with especially i am a very busy person. I could make a booking anytime I want. The hotel is very clean and organized. The hotel's staff named Steffi really handles my booking very well, i never had encountered any problems.

To all the people who are considering a hotel in Malate Palm Plaza Hotel is the best in terms of service and location.

Room Tip: Bay side view is the best....

We were put in this hotel for free as phillipine airlines had cancelled our flights. We walked in and the hotel smelt strongly of damp which did not bode well. When we were taken to the room, which also smelt of damp, we were immediately greeted by a cockroach running across the bed, so we walked straight out and booked a room at the pan pacific around the corner. Even for free we wouldn't stay here! Funnily enough when we returned to collect our bags we were greeted by another cockroach scuttling across the floor.. so the room (509) was obviously infested.

We had no problems with the staff who seemed courteous and polite. But if you appreciate even a modicum of cleanliness and comfort, don't stay here.

Dear Mr. Stuart D,

Firstly, I wish to apologize sincerely for the unacceptable standards by which you've experienced your first fleeting stay at our hotel. By no means does this experience speak of the vision by which I and my team are seriously working on since i assumed my post as the hotel manager.

The hotel is going through a transition with its service providers in addressing this intermittent yet totally despicable pest problem. As of this writing, an emergency meeting to address your comments, is in the works and immediate action plans are underway to ensure this does not recur to any of our guests.

Again, please accept my apologies for this deplorable incident and we shall do everything within our new I-Care program to work out things more consistently for everyone's comfort, safety and convenience.

Respectfully Yours,

Mr. Nilo F. Inocentes

The reality is that the hotel is ageing, the rooms look like they came out of the 70s, but for the price it is fine!

I was disappionted that there was no flat screen tv as promised, but they made up for it by the friendly and helpful behaviour, and won me over when I turned up at 6.30 am and they still offered me two rooms, which I could check out first, even though check-in wasn't till 2 pm.
I took the smoking room away from the busy road and facing the bay, and I couldn't smell a thing, it was super quiet!
Yes, the location is full of prostitutes and beggars, but this is Malate, but Robinson Mall is across the road, you can't beat that!

There are also 2 free internet stations in lobby.

I would definitely be visiting again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the busy road, facing the bay
