What a sad place. To think that the poor man was shot in the back. The statues are very lifelike and the story is well told.

A doctor who lived a bit more of 30 years... spoked 10 languages!!... dreamed for a Filipinas with justice and "inside" Spain... but the spanish governors, officially "murder" him. Perhaps one day Spain will claim for forgiveness.... (also for the same with Companys, a catalan president).

I am not a big history buff but found this very interesting and well presented. The poem he wrote is presented in many languages.

Not much there. just a monument with bronze statutes. I think it's more meaningful to a Filipino than a foreigner.
