“Rizal Park - very impressive”
Reviewed January 3, 2013

Lunetta (Rizal) Park was very impressive with the statue, gardens and people in their droves.

Credit to the Manila town planners providing such a lovely area for their people to gather.

“Very moving”
Reviewed December 31, 2012

The site of the execution of Jose Rizal, one of the most revered heroes in Filipino history, a very moving place to see. Honor guards stand at attention, very respectful monument dedicated to a great man.

“Beautiful Park”
Reviewed December 29, 2012

This park was nice and spacious. They have a train ride for the kids and it was nice to see families out enjoying the day there. Lots of history there. We arrived as there was a changing of the guards which was an added bonus to see!

“Beautiful and well kept”
Reviewed December 6, 2012

We dropped into Rizal shrine during our Carlos Celdran walking tour. We could only see part of it, as you can easily spend one hour if you are a history buff.

The museum is well kept, and the entry fee is included when you enter Fort Santiago. I have added photos and trivia about this place on blog - http://expattraveller.blogspot.com/

“Lot's of history”
Reviewed November 7, 2012

It's good to learn about the history of the country by visiting this place. It's quite a cheap entertainment considering there is a free fountain show at night.
