Description: Making a splash when it first opened in 2006, Spiral’s dining innovations were a first in Asia and it became one of Manila’s most loved restaurants. Dining has never been the same again since. But the new Spiral proves that even a trailblazer can top itself with Sofitel once again taking destination dining to a whole new level. The new Spiral is divided into 21 dining ateliers. In France, an atelier is an artist’s special workshop, and in Spiral it is where secret recipes are masterfully prepared right before your very eyes. The range of cuisines is expansive and the attention and detail to each dish has the focus of an artisan.

Let me start with the bad then the good....We arrived at the Spiral restaurant around 8 pm and the lady at the reception asked if we had any reservations and unfortunately we did not have any. They refused to give us a table although I saw so many tables empty and the lady insisted that they were reserved ,all throughout the dinner the tables were never taken therefor it would have been a waste if we actually left, that would mean 250 euros lost for sofitel.I insisted and and should them my husband's platinum accor card and made a bit of a fuss.
The buffet is wonderful, great choices and I loved the oysters, cote de beouf ,confit canard, cheese room, peking duck ,lobsters and truffles .
The price is a bit pricey so better eat the expensive stuff, forget the asian fare as it was not all that great.

This hotel restaurant is marvelous, it has the cheese room, japanese, filipino, indian, carving, pasta, korean, chinese food stations and a whole lot more. There was an interaction with the chef wherein they will tell you what kind of food it is and which ones are the really yummy ones. However, it is too pricey but if you have an Accor Card, you'll have a discount for up to 50% off. It's definitely a bargain. It was just weird that they didn't have lechon for the Filipino cuisine coz the Chinese cuisine has the Peking duck and other cuisines had their own specialty. Overall, great dining experience and recommended. Be sure to call in days or a week before coz it's hard to get a reservation.

For their breakfast buffet spread, it's just the regular food, nothing special about it. Of course there's a lot of Filipino food such as Tapa, Tocino, Bangus, Longganisa. They also have a salad section, cheese room (of course), teppanyaki section, egg station, desserts (fruits), shabu-shabu section, chinese section (dimsums and congee).

we have been eating here since 2009 , Breakfast is awesome!!!!!! and so was dinner! all you can eat food from around the world. Real skilled chefs from, Japan, China, Europe, Indian and more. excellent service and the food is prepared with care - not like other buffets that let the sheer mass of food for the price be enticing, but real 5 star cuisine. i want to go back.

We used ti like it before the renovation now its a beautiful place but the buffet us nothing more than an overpriced bad asian food. For 3000 pesos you can have much better food at the Manderin or Shangri la

The Sunday brunch in Le Bar was ok for the last year but is now back in the Spiral and is an absolute delight. This is going to be busy busy every week. Great food, plenty of staff, management that are interested in customer feedback. Discounts for Accor Club members make this an absolute steal.
