We've been here way back 2006 on the valentines day with my two friends and my girlfriend at that time and now my wife. we've ordered the valentine package including 4 course meal i think, and the one i will never forget is their oh so tender spanish lengua estofado, ive tried lengua from different restos but this one is the best lengua i tasted. now moving forward, their food attendant is well mannered and the ambience is romantic yet relaxing. you wouldnt know that there's a resto like this inside malacanang in mendiola. if you want to experience spanish dish in mendiola area, this one is a must try.

at first the 24hr reservaton and pre order was a hassle since we were a group of 7. but when all that was ironed out, everything was a delight upon arriving at the venue until we said our goodbyes to our servers. our favorites were the lengua, roasted pork with cracklings, and the queso de bola cheescake for dessert. the staff were friendly and very attentive. i will definitely dine here again.

Went here in February of 2011 for our wedding anniversary . Selections have to be pre-ordered. The ancestral house is big and is full of antique pieces. You will be ushered into the foyer and waiting room and served with refreshments while waiting for the house tour to start. Very pleasant and it gives you time to take in the surroundings. The tour will take you through the varied rooms of the Legarda Mansion. My husband and I were particularly pleased to find books from our alma mater in the library.

We chose Menu 1 and 2 and everything was delectable. The main dining room is air-conditioned and dinnerware and linens are also one of a kind. We thoroughly enjoyed a very filling yet leisurely lunch. Will plan to bring my mom here as she enjoys experiences like this.

Dined at La Cocina de Tita Moning as a send-off for our daughter. It was our first time at the restaurant but we had sampled its products which we received as gifts during the holidays. I can only echo the previous reviews. La Cocina de Tita Moning takes you back in time to experience how the old rich of Manila dined. The table setting used in the art deco house were very elegant, from the plates to the murano crystal center pieces. The staff were solicitous, making sure that the food is served warm and constantly refilling your water glass (with water laced with pandan) and bread plate. I never felt so pampered.
The food, though not fancy, consisted of recipes from the collection of the Legarda family matriarch, Dona Ramona (Tita Moning) Legarda. We sampled 2 of the set menus: Menu 1 had a trio of salads for appetizer, a first course of garlic-crusted baked lapulapu and pancit bihon, a second course of roasted pork with caramelized sweet potato, paella valenciana and sauteed heart of palm and dessert consisting of pudding, fresh fruits, caramelizes banana, turon and hot chocolate; Menu 2 had gambas, truffle risotto and grilled eggplant salad for starters, lengua in white wine, sauteed heart of palm and paella valenciana as main course and fresh fruits, caramelized banana and bread pudding for dessert. You can finish the meal with coffee, chocolate or herb tea. The food was very tasty and the servings more than adequate that we took home excess food! We were just too full.
The restaurant sits 80. There is adequate parking. It is open everyday for lunch and dinner but strictly by reservation. I encourage you to make your reservations early via their website as the restaurant is usually full. Guests are welcomed with cocktails and a tour of the Legarda mansion before being ushered to their table. The tour makes you appreciate the family and the home they are sharing with you as well as gives you history about the food. Our menu choice costs about P2,000/person. Drinks are not included.
This is definitely a restaurant worth another visit.
