I got a special rate for booking in blocks of 3 and 4 days at a time and the price was very good for being in Manila. The staff are eager and run to do everything for you. The included breakfast is very good if you like that kind of food but there is no western breakfast dishes it is a buffet of 6 different kinds of asian foods, well mostly, I did see pancakes once in the 9 days I was there.

It is not a new building but is much better than the surrounding area especially if you are looking to be at this price point. I had 2 rooms while staying there and both were ok but the street noise was very noticeable in the first one and it did share a window with the next room. on my second stay I got another room on the other side of the hotel which was not facing Bocobo St and it was much much better.

For the price you pay this is maybe the best hotel in that area, it is very clean and family friendly not so many beggers and prostitutes that are common to Manila. I am not saying it is in a bad area but Manila is just full of that and you better be able to stand seeing naked kids sleeping on the sidewalk with there family as I was suprised to see and they are taught to beg for money by the parents so if you walk to Robinson Mall from Casa Bocobo about a 5 minute walk straight up Jorge Bocobo st you better expect kids to come up and hold your hand and ask for money becuase that is the way life is there. But I had a very funny experience when a brother and sister beg me for coins and did chant Jolibee Jolibee Jolibee which i thought was very funny (Jolibee is like a filipino Mcdonalds) My wife is from the the Philipines and even she was shocked at Manila. A few things to know if you are going there. If you are a foreigner the cab drivers will try to rip you off, but even if they rip you off it is much cheaper than an cab in America but ask for a cab with a meter or as they say "metro". To get to Casa Bocobo tell the driver it is on Jorge Bocobo st next to United Nations Ave just east of Roxas Blvd or you may end up on the wrong side of Robinson Mall as some will drive you around for no reason even if they know it is on the north side of robinson as you would never know and it is not the same Bocobo st. Take a taxi if you go to mall of Asia maybe but Robinson Mall, Manila Ocean Park, are so close you can walk faster than traffic. If you are going to Mall of Asia try taking a Jeepney it is pure filipino and cost like 8 pesos less than 20 cents and you should do it because no where else can you ride in a Jeepney. If you are ON Roxas Blvd jump in a UV express van they are 10 pesos and will take you to the mall. Casa Bocobo is truly the best place for what I paid with not even a second thought about it especially because of the included breakfast but Manila will shock you if you leave the Major tourist places and see even a side road no matter where you are in it and that is not being a tourist but anyone who has not seen a place like Manila.

Room Tip: The only thing I can say is make sure it is not a room facing J Bocobo st as it is very loud

The room were really nice and clean. I luv the way they designed their bathrooms, small but very neat and simple. Linens and towels were very clean which is important for us travelers. What I like most in this hotel is the breakfast and the very high speed WIFI access inside their rooms. I haven't seen any hotel with this kind of internet connection. Its either you pay per day or very slow connection in most hotels. Just one comment and I guess the management should work out on this issue. It is bit noisy at night and you can hear the vehicles and clubs nearby. I guess its better if they will put a sound proof glass windows or a heavy curtains to lessen the noise. But over all rating is SUPERB!

Room Tip: Choose room opposite side of the nearby clubs.

This was my first trip to the Philippines and we arrived in Manila at 1am. I was concerned about booking a hotel but I wanted one with shuttle service because I wasn't sure what to expect. I also didn't know what area in Manila to stay in. There were so many choices but I am more partial to site seeing than nightlife so I opted for CasaBocobo in Ermita. I emailed them to reserve a room and book a car from airport and they responded immediately. They gave me detailed instructions how to get the car and what it costs and who to pay etc. Everything was straight forward. We arrived and they were waiting for us as planned. We booked a larger room as I read the other reviews about the rooms being small. Rooms were clean, airconditioned and for the most part unexpectedly quiet. It is right next to the Rizal park and convenient to walk there and Intramuros. It is also close to Robinsons mall and plenty of restaurants to eat at nearby. The hotel staff- especially Gemma- helped us tremendously arrange a trip outside of Manila. She spent 20 minutes with us over a few days helping us sort out our plans. Breakfast is good- mostly filipino food but they do make eggs to order if you like. Internet access wifi free and they have 2 computers you can use in the lobby.Great place to stay overall. Would definitly stay here again.

Right next to Rizal park, the US embassy, Aquarium and a short walk from Malate and a slightly longer one to Intramuros. Great location.

I was in a deluxe room which was spacious, had a big TV, was cleanish and pretty comfortable.

Service was great - breakfast was questionable but you'd be hard pushed to find anywhere as nice for the same price in Manila.

i stayed for one night only, just for a quick tour in the old town before flying out of Manila. The hotel is in a great location to explore the intramuros and just across the road for Rizal park. the staff is very courteous. The actual room Petit looks bigger than from the picture online. it is clean and cover all my basic needs. there is free wifi in the room, although i am not sure if it is from the hotel or the shop opposite the street. the buffet breakfast is good too. i can have a full stomach before setting off for my walking tour around the intramuros.
