“Not a world class Aquarrium”
Reviewed November 7, 2010

I dont recommend this oceanarium if you have been there in other countries like Indonesia,Thailand,Malaysia,.... but if you never experienced this sort of parks and you are in vicinity of Roxas Blvd it is worth to visit.
the entrance fee is 400 P and there are several places for shopping and food.
the section Dr Fish (tratment and massage by fish) is not so attractive.
the only interesting items is feeding the sharks by diver.
Corocodiles are small and not noticeable.

“Nice place to bond with family...”
Reviewed October 30, 2010

My sister and my brother-in-law just went home from their contractual work in Saudi and they decided to bring their son in Ocean Park last July 2010. Since I am working and living here in Manila, I tagged along with them to experience the famous Ocean Park adventure that I always hear from my friends. Surely enough, I had a hell of a good time! I really loved the fish spa,it felt so tingly and so refreshing afterwards.

“Children would enjoy this”
Reviewed October 9, 2010

I have to admit that Manila Ocean Park is no better than the aquariums in neighboring countries but for its price a trip to this aquarium is worth it. As is, this is the best that you could find in the entire country so if you want to see marine life in an artificial setting this is your best bet. Children would enjoy much seeing various creatures that they only see on television.

I recommend going there on weekdays to avoid the crowd.

In Filipino, it's "bitin". There are nice and rare creatures to be seen though.

Visiting the ocean park makes you realize that there is indeed a Creator from above, enjoying His creations and letting us see how wonderful they are all made!

Visit Manila ocean park if you haven't been to other country's ocean parks.

“Don't Miss A Visit to the Manila Ocean Park”
Reviewed September 30, 2010

The Manila Ocean Park has many different attractions in it. A family can spend a good portion of their day (say about 4 hours, lunch included) in this attraction. Think of it like you were going to either the zoo or a science museum. There is the Aquarium. There is also the Jellyfish Exhibit. Outdoors at night, there is a Light Show and also a dolphin show I believe. Because I was a guest at the hotel (Hotel H2o) located within the aquarium, I spent a lot of time in the Manila Ocean Park and got to observe this attraction and its crowds pretty heavily.

The Aquarium. It's approximately USD $10-$12 to get in so not bad. Inside is a wonderful display of ocean sea life in there. It is impressive and very educational. Don't hurry going through but just enjoy each area that you pass and take pictures! There's plenty of opportunity.

Jellyfish Exhibit. For USD $3-$5 you can see the jellyfish exhibit. HOW WONDERFUL. I was in awe with this display. Compared to the aquarium, we're taking of a smaller area but I could have just stayed there the whole day watching the jellyfish.

I unfortunately didn't get a chance to see the light show but I passed it several nights and it looked, from outside, an impressive show. They had music, water displays, fireworks, fire...you name it! The dolphin show also seemed to draw tons of crowds.

Because this is a popular attraction, it is possible that there are groups of students on their field trip when you come. All this means is you'll just have to wait till the crowds (usually comes in waves anyway) passes...so make sure to plan a lot of time so you can leisurely view this attraction.

There was a bad feedback regarding the mall area. I disagree with this feedback. The mall area is in a designated spot within the ocean park. You would have to purposely cross the lobby to get to it so it is really unobtrusive. I checked out the items they were selling and all looked interesting and something I'd buy to bring back stateside if I had enough money.

Lunch or dinner isn't an issue. There are plenty of fastfood restaurants. There's also fine dining with an awesome view of Manila Bay. I visited one time at night and it just felt magical drinking and eating in full view of the bay.

I highly recommend this attraction and I think it's well worth one's visit.
