Their foods are great. specially the Buddha soup. Steamed lapu-lapu, prawns/shrimps, crabs in deliciously sauce. Avalone with shitake mushrooms in thick yummy sauce. But be warn, this place flooded when rains hit this city so hard.

I've been here several times unfortunately and the only thing I'll eat is theirdumplings. The last time I went I swore I'd never come back - I'm not sure they are clean - they could invest some money in updating and cleaning out their restaurant.

Breakfast should be heavy as it's the the most important meal of the day. If you eat breakfast at Emerald Garden, you will surely be satisfied to the fullest with its congee, siopao, siomai and many more. i highly recommend the egg tart which seems to melt right in the mouth! Emerald Garden is truly good Cinese food from breakfast, lunch to dinner to parties / special occasions. No wonder it has stayed on for so many years despite competitors coming along.

Tried this restaurant years ago and came back for lunch this time with 3 office mates. We ordered kua pao with pork rind, brocolli, fish fillet, yang chow and 1 order of their best seller jumbo bun. The "siopao" jumbo bun is really huge and contained everything, red egg, sausage, ground pork. It was so good and writing this down makes me want to go there and buy 2. One piece costs $2.50. All the items we ordered were all so good as well, the fish fillet is so soft, its melts in your mouth, the kua pao which we used as sandwich for the pork rind was also tastefully done, the brocolli was cooked just right and had a very fresh taste. Will definitely go back and try the other food in the menu.
