Visited Seychelles in May 2015 and was very fortunate to visit this beautiful Botanical Garden. Its located at the heart of Mahi Island, Capital Victoria. The place contains so many different species of Plants suitable for Tropical, beautifully maintained. Its an amazing place the families to visit.

Visited by private tour, very beautifull gardens immaculately maintained with a wide variety of plants. Pay to feed the toroises as it is well worth it. Toilets are spotless. Cafe is non existant despite being listed as open.

Nice tour.
Not suitable for a hot summer day..
If you are looking for a change to the beach you can go. If you are not already around - do not bother to go - skip it .

We were travelling with 2 small children and we stayed 4 nights on mahe...we debated going on praslin and la digue but the trip was difficult for us with the children so we stayed on mahe and as we had time and wanted to see the tortoises , we decided a trip to the botanical garden is a good idea..

the only interesting part about the garden is seeing the tortoises and for an extra charge the kids were able to feed them

other than that..the park is not well signed and there is not much to see in terms of amazing plantation (for e.g. went to the botanical garden in kandy sri lanka and that was breathtaking)...the one in Seychelles is simple and nice for a few pics in the greenery...

just bear in mind that it can get hot..wear comfortable shoes and try to avoid going there on a hot day..
