Beautiful garden with fruit bats, turtles, coco de mer and many other exotic trees and plants. Toilet signs were great! :)

We had a guided tour of the gardens. Quite a steep climb to the top of the gardens but worth the effort. Huge range of exotic trees and plants and lots of mossies in the heat of the day. Would recommend a visit but early or late in the day is best.

A lovely little garden with a variety of plants, including an example of the coco de mare. There is a pen of giant tortoises which you can pet, they are very gentle and friendly. We were also lucky to see lots of bats flying about at midday

the only thing you can see in the garden is the coco-de-mer. But if Mahe is not the only island you visit in Seychelles, it is totally not worthwhile to visit.

Having been to other botanical gardens in places like Kuala Lumpur and Singapore we were expecting a lot more, so were fairly disappointed by the size and range of plants on display.
We visited in July 2013 and they had closed the path way part way along, the map is completely wrong so there's no need to follow it. A good way to spend half an hour but it wouldn't need much more time.
On the plus side, brilliant new toilet block!
