A garden like anyone in you country. The difference is the big coco de mer tree and some tortoises.
Was ok to read a book in the shade and see some couple of nice grass, but nothing really special...

Nothing to write home about but since there are hardly any attractions in Victoria, at least it is something to visit

The gardens are a pleasant visit though nothing really spectacular. The coco-de-mer trees and information are great if you don't manage to get to Praslin. Also the tortoises if you don't get to La Digue. The restaurant was not operating when we were there.

You can see the aldebra tortoises and coco de mer without taking a trip to praslin... But it's sort of an overlap if you are going to visit valee de mai! It's a nice garden but on a rainy day you wouldn't want to spend too much time their among the mozzies:)

A nice range of local flora. Some areas lack recent attention. A great place to go for those of us who live in a desert environment. A good reminder of how wonderful "GREEN" can be.
